* David Goyer’s “FlashForward” improbably hit another new all-time low. It was beaten not only by “Survivor” and “Bones” but by The CW’s “Vampire Diaries” and repeats of “The Office.” This looks like the third one-season wonder for Goyer, whose TV track record includes “Threshold” and the series version of “Blade.”
* “Survivor,” already renewed for two more seasons, was again the top Thursday show by a wide margin.
* “Fringe,” already renewed for a third season, held its own against a new “CSI” and NBC’s SNL documentary.
* “SNL in the 2000s” did a lot better than “Marriage Ref,” winning the 10 p.m. slot against CBS and ABC repeats.

when a terrorist incident happened to kill 3000 people in the states, the country collectively lost its fucking mind. Huge sweeping security reforms, invasions, war, restriction of civil liberties, the works.In Flashforward, an apparent terrorist attack kills 20million people world wide.And how does this affect the world? It's a fucking stupid show.

The first 2 episodes started off lame, but by midseason it was great. It's a shame it was on when it was, now with the "vampire craze" it would probably be doing a lot better for them.

Flash Forward is smarter than most of the shows out there. Are there some plot holes? Sure. Like why doesn't anyone in their flash forward appear particularly aware of the fact that they are inhabiting the exact moment they've already seen 6 months earlier? But it's a real shame that people haven't gotten on board with the show, which consistently manages to have lots of suspense, action, and intelligent sci-fi.

Everytime a character appears on screen, if you can't name that character, take a drink (you have to give the character name; saying "Evil Charley", or "John Cho", or "Suicidal Doctor Dude", or "Knocked-up Lesbian FBI Agent Mole Chick", doesn't count).
Honestly, the only character I can name is Joseph Fiennes (Mark). -
I don't know anyone who watches it. Most people I know watch Survivor, and Fringe, and that's about it.

I still watch Bones. It's a good show with good chemistry between Boreanaz and Deschanel. Survivor got boring for me after the fifth season and I liked Fringe better when it was called X-Files.

But, I have to watch it online because it's opposite not only "Survivor" but "Parks and Recreation". Too many good shows on Thursday and something has to give :(

But yeah, it's another Brannon Braga disaster. They need to focus on whoever the fuck the dude who played Charlie on Lost is, and quit wasting time on the chick who played Penny from Lost and Ralph Fiennes less successful brother.

Like the FBI leader, the guy at the hospital that's dying of cancer, Bendford's kid, and just focus on Mark, Simon, Olivia Lloyd, Janice, and Dimitri the show would be tight.

because it's taking it's sweet time telling a part of the story that could have been told much earlier in the season. They JUST WILL NOT GET TO IT! There's a whole universe of possibilities for future stories after this particular segment of the current story is finished. But they're acting like we're patient enough to wait until an imaginary, wishful-thinking fueled 3rd season to find out the what, who and why. It's like the show thinks it's Lost or something. It's not, not by a long shot. But it could be great if they picked up the pace a bit. Just a bit. Instead it's dragging on like the first season of Jericho. I still watch it, but my patience is getting thin. And what the hell is with this show beating Supernatural in the ratings? Not by much, but still. Supernatural has been phenomenal this season.

Flashforward - too many characters. The hospital guy with cancer is going no where. Fine, the Japanese gal is cute and sexy and rather hot but it's a pointless diversion. The FBI mole (doesn't the FBI or CTU do proper vetting anymore) was a great twist. The show generally, is getting better but yes, they need to get to some answers quickly. Quickly, I tell you.
And Supernatural is just awesome! Now, where is the Burn Notice talkback?? It's been renewed for two more seasons - a most excellent development! -
but it might be too much to hope he never comes back from Afghanistan. Stick to Charley and the field agents, and make the SAC less of a pompous ass or get rid of him, too.

Good actors (none of that ginger twat CSI rubbish or Coldcase hag)
But somehow the show runner made shite of the format. Like unnecessary reminder flashbacks of what someone saw, How many times have we seen Benfords flashforward stumbling around pissed, staring at a case wall ? 100 times? Christ we get it! Please stop! It just makes me feel like a drink myself! The twist FF Simon and Janice had were good though. Every now and then you get glimpses of great TV only to fall back to predicable Csi/Ncis/coldcase drek.
It got better too late. Its not gonna get a second series going by these ratings. Pity, Im really getting into it now (and have even started to bother to learn the characters names).
On another note, I saw V last night. Have the effects gotten worse of where they always that bad? The green screen scenes on the ships look shite. And are all the characters look like they are dying from starvation ? There faces look so boney? Not that I really care mind.

right as the show was building up momentum..out of fucking nowhere. then ABC suits just cold start it again out of the blue. What the hell did they expect. The show actually isn't bad and better than much of the phlem on tv right now. shame it will be one and done.

I'll try that. But honestly, I didn't watch it since the break. Same goes for V. I love, love Bones. It's funny, and the characters are great. Who cares about the murders. I'm really enjoying Fringe. The entire first season I wasn't sure about it, but I stick with it and I'm very glad, I did. But FlashForward, I don't think I will ever watch the remaining episodes.

Fiennes is horrendous, like soap opera quality. The rest of them aren't much better. Really, this show probably would have been better as a CBS procedural starring Dennis Haysbert, Noah Wyle and Eddie Cibrian.

I got huge geek wood when James Callis had his little cameo this past episode as some sort of idiot savant.
Hopefully it means more of him going forward.
I do agree that Fiennes is the worst part of FF. Oddly enough since he is the most decorated of the actors involved. And i really liked some of his performances back in the day, specially the Martin Luther movie he made.
But i guess that he suffers from the same problem that Ana Torv suffers from on Fringe. Bad lead characters with great supporting characters.
