...with a quick look at tonight's STARGATE UNIVERSE episode - "Faith".
Last week, I talked about how much I'm enjoying this show and how underrated I feel it can be (details HERE).
Earlier this week, RoboGeek (Twitter HERE) and I had a lengthy conversation about all the things SGU does right - and how much more fully realized this series feels than, say, CAPRICA (which I find frustrating, distancing, and nearly unwatchable - takes that show a long time to accomplish very little).
If you haven't had a chance to see much SGU, it's now available via Netflix, or can be found on standard DVD and Blu-Ray HERE
). Give it five or six eps & see what you think. The show looks great in Blu, BTW. IF PURCHASING: I find these 13 episode, 1/2 season sets to be a tad pricey, all things being equal. So be sure to check out new & used availability from individual sellers.
Which brings us to tonight's episode: Destiny discovers a wonderful planet on which some of the ship's contingent are compelled to stay. But there's a reason they can't...

Looks like this ep has a Beautiful Planet Sticky-uppy Thingie kinda like the one in STAR TREK's "Paradise Syndrome", or the "Pylons" on LAND OF THE LOST? Not certain what that is...guess we'll see tonight.
