Deadline Hollywood is reporting that NBC has ordered 13 episodes of “Law & Order: Los Angeles.” Particularly exciting news considering the series comes from Blake Masters, mastermind of the best Showtime series nobody ever watched, the political mob drama “Brotherhood.” The same piece indicates NBC is still likely to bring back “Law & Order” for a 21st season, despite the fact that it attracts sub-“Chuck”/sub-“Heroes” ratings. The article also indicates Mariska Hargitay and Christopher Meloni are expected back for season 12 of “Law & Order: SVU.” NBC announces its 2010-2011 schedule May 17.
