Seth MacFarlane And His Fellow FAMILY GUY Writers Prepping For MacFarlane’s Big-Screen Directorial Debut!!

I am – Hercules!! Seth MacFarlane, who has taken over the Fox network’s Sunday night schedule with hits like “Family Guy,” “American Dad” and “The Cleveland Show,” now wants to make big-screen entertainment for you. Written by MacFarlane and fellow “Family Guy” writers Alec Sulkin and Wellesley Wild, the so-far-untitled movie would mark MacFarlane’s feature directorial debut. MacFarlane would also lend one of his voices to a talking CGI teddy bear who gets between his adult owner and his owner’s girlfriend. Personally? I’m thinking MacFarlane may be the least funny human being ever to make millions from comedy! But! “Family Guy” did muscle aside “Desperate Housewives” this year to snag its first Emmy nomination for outstanding comedy series, so maybe his genius just continues to go over my head. What say you, talkbackers? Will film director Seth MacFarlane prove the next Judd Apatow? The next Adam McKay? The next Christopher Guest? Or the next Shawn Levy? Find all of Entertainment Weekly’s story on the matter here.
