* “Undercover Boss” made a huge gain and dominated last Sunday, demonstrating the predictable reality show is likely to remain a major player for some time. CBS has already greenlit a second season.
* “Boss” lead-in “The Amazing Race” hit a new season high. “Boss” lead-out “Cold Case” matched its season high.
* Against a rare “Desperate Housewives” repeat, “Family Guy” it hit its best number of 2010.
* The absence of a new “Housewives” may have also helped “Apprentice,” which rose a bit following its sharp drop the week before.
* “Life” and “Kendra” continue to pull strong basic cable numbers.
* “The Pacific’s” battle-free, Australia-set third episode matched the series’ premiere rating. It continues to do much better than “Big Love,” which bounced between 0.6 and 0.9 this season.
* “Breaking Bad” took a nasty 22% second-week slide following its record-breaking third-season premiere. That puts it back down into “Mad Men” territory.
