‘I Don't Think You Have The Guts To Do What I Did!!’ SURVIVOR Returns to Thursday!!
I am – Hercules!!
The villains’ Russell Hantz passing his immunity idol to Parvati Shallow adds to this argument: the diminutive Texas oilman may have magical powers. Rob Mariano and Sandra Diaz-Twine voted for Russell. Had Tyson Apostol not switched to Parvati he might not be a chicken entrée right now.
Eight villains remain, but Russell’s only allies appear to be Parvati and Danielle DiLorenzo. With no immunity idol in Russell’s hand, will tonight’s installment finally mark his Waterloo at the hands of a Rob-Coach-Jerri axis of evil? Or will a merger help Parvati turn Amanda and the other heroes into Russell’s minions?
Following last week’s dual evictions, only five heroes are still vying for the million: the resilient Colby Donaldson and J.T. Thomas, as well as Candice Woodcock, Amanda Kimmel and moan-master Rupert Boneham. All the heroes voted off lame James last week; James might have done the same had the rules permitted as much. Here’s Amanda prior to the vote:

I just don't see how he survives tonight, though. Unless there's a merge or he finds another idol.
-
then coach may be on Russells side making it 4 to 4 giving Russell a shot to make it through this week. Otherwise, it may be the end of Russell.
-
it's inevitable. He has no allies, even though he's a leader, and nobody wants to compete with him once it comes down to individual immunity (merge is coming up in the next few days). Russel has a couple of loyalists, and nobody really feels threatened by him in the challenges. Maybe not this ep, but Russel will survive and Rob will go at one of the next opportunities.
-
Russell might be the most conniving player ever, but I honestly think that physically, mentally, and strategically, Boston Rob is the best player that has ever played the game. I don't think it's even close.
-
I don't know if it is the clever editing or if it is how it really went down - but the chess match between Boston Rob and Russell is some of the most compelling stuff I have seen in a while.
I myself am on Team Russell. He got robbed last season and I find his style of play very entertaining. If he can make it to the merge, I think he can go to the finals. Can he win? Probably not. If the jury is as bitter about it as last season, I don't think Russell can charm his way to a million dollars. -
The Hidden Immunity Idol is the great equalizer. Russell understands how much it changes the basics of the game. That's why he searches so hard for it. That's why he's so dangeorus.
Russell finds another one. Coach abstains from taking a side in the battle. The votes go 4-3-1. The votes against Russell don't count. Rob goes home. -
is Russell in danger. No guarantee of that at all. And I don't think it is in Rob's nature to throw a challenge just to take a shot at Russell.
And keep in mind, it wasn't the idol that saved Russell. It was his Jedi mind trick on Tyson. The force is strong with this one. -
Sandra appears to have a srious bug up her ass about Russell, but everyone else seems to be indifferent and just willing to go along with the majority. If Rob doesn't have individual immunity, I can see Russell and Parvati persuading enough people to take Rob out. Not saying it WILL happen, only that it could.
-
Well, they've certainly foreshadowed Parvati's "friends on the other tribe" angle enough, so I'm sure that's going to come into play before too long. Russell and Parvati surviving to the merge and collecting whatever's left of the heroes team would be pretty much unstoppable. And would leave Rob and Co. wondering why they didn't vote Parvati off way back when, instead of crabby Randy -- who's prediction about her going all the way will no doubt come true.
-
His Jedi mind trick on Tyson was insane. Came out of nowhere, should not have worked and yet there it was. One of the craziest plays I've ever seen on the show and the damn thing somehow worked and ol Russ didn't seem the least bit surprised.
-
But she's stated that she goes wherever majority goes. That's pretty much her game strategy. Russell raped everyone last week though, and I can't wait to see what happens tonight.
-
If the villains lose the immunity challenge. There are still 13 players, so no merge yet. Tyson said in the post-game that Jerri couldn't stand Rob and that he was the one holding her and Coach with Rob. I think that Russell picks up Coach (and therefore Jerri) and boots Rob 5-3. I do think it is highly likely that Parvati will do Russell post-merge. But that will be the mother of all-time Survivor battles.
-
i'd be willing to bet my pecker that russell pulled that shit off and sways the vote to oust rob. call it a hunch or a little birdy that told me, but my pecker is on the betting table.
-
If Russel had done well this season, he would never have tried to buy the title off the winner last in last seasons finale. So even if he does manage to get rid of Rob first, he still won't make it to the finale three, no matter what.
-
We were discussing that same thing last week. It did seem obvious that Russell was really upset that he did not win last season because he knew he already lost allstars. but is also possible that he did that on purpose to fool the ausience like he did the contestants. Its also possible that he wanted to be the first to win back to back seasons. There are many possibilities so I would'nt count Russell ou just yet.
-
of what went down last week. I can't see Russell exposing himself like that unless he was 100% certain of how Tyson was voting. He obviously knew Tyson was supposed to vote for him; even if he figured out the plan, he had to know who was voting who. Otherwise, If the plan had called for Tyson to be one of the 3 Parvati votes instead, Russell convincing Tyson to vote Parvati is a moot point. I can see why Tyson did what he did. With a plan for a 3-3-3 tie, his neck is on the line. One of his supposed allies could have taken the opportunity to go against Rob's plan and cast their vote against Tyson instead.
-
Rob is gonna have a bittersweet week. First on 4/1, CBS airs the episode in which Rob gets sent back to Fenway. But lucky him, his embarrassment of being voted out before the merge, and thus not being on the jury, will surely be mitigated by the fact that the Red Sox home opener is Sunday against the Yankees.
-
He's my freakin hero already. If he manages to somehow pull somebody from Rob's side or find another idol he may have a shot, but the odds are against it unfortunately. Favorite player ever.
-
in yellow overalls and a yellow cap with big W on it he's fucking Wario. Oh, he needs a pornstache
too. -
Unless he finds another hidden immunity idol--and even then, too many people are against him. If Boston Rob is smart--and he is--he will break down what went wrong with the last vote and impress upon his alliance with renewed urgency why it's important to STICK TO THE FUCKING PLAN!
-
in the butt
-
...they'll see that Rob is playing them, too. They really need to get them both out as soon as possible - doesn't really matter who goes first. I also think it's very likely that completely unforeseen alliances will take place if a merge happens. For some reason I see Coach and Rupert working well together. But really, I just have no freakin' clue this season. Just looking forward to tonight's ep.

http://www.wibw.com/blogs/topdawg/89658987.html
that guys has been right all season long. -
(1) Boston Rob is the best all-around player the game has ever seen, (2) Boston Rob always gets stuck on tribes full of stupid tools, and (3) Russell is fantastic, but benefits greatly this season from the fact he is the only "unknown" in the game - if anyone had seen how he played last season, he'd have been gone Day One.
-
every week. It almost makes me think you might be heterosexual ... at least until the next time you gush about The Gilmore Girls. She's positively hypnotic. I don't know how anyone in that game restrains themselves from just throwing her down in the dirt and going all Clan of the Cave Bear on her in the middle of tribal council.
-
Rob looks frightened and confused! "Somethin's not right..."
-
but can't agree that those are facts. 3 really true facts are 1)Amanda has a sweet ass. 2) parvati has a sweet ass. 3) Rob will go before russell.
-
Completely uncharacteristic!
-
Colby schools the Coach! Water again proves villain Kryptonite!
-
BYE ROB!
-
To be honest. I just think Russell is more interesting to watch.
-
Yes!
-
I thought for sure Russell and his group would go with Courtney just to be safe and secure Coach's vote. Wow, I honestly had no clue how that vote would go
-
Russells problem is his big mouth and the fact that he makes enemies. Looks like he didn't learn from his first failure.
-
Probably would have been smarter taking Courtney out, but might as well decapitate the problem while you can.
-
How many more shots at $1 million, I wonder, will CBS give Rob Mariano?
-
with his wife?
-
You speak the truth. The villains tribe is in disarray but Russell should be able to manage that until the merge. It will be interesting to see if having the numbers at the mere works in his favor.
-
Which Rob so help to facilitate. Also, with Parvati and Amanda around, we all forget about what a fox Amber was. So let's not get too down on Rob. I'm sure CBS will find a way to put him on "Undercover Boss".
-
So true. And Coach is gonna go cry again.

Yeah but Coach went neutral and voted for Courtney....

I could have watched Rob and Russell fight every freaken night!
by anotherboreddude
It was so epic and raw. Rob looked ready to throw a punch on a few occasions. I wish they kept him on and took that worthless waste of a human being Courtney out.
-
Rob, you think you're such a great player, but it's pretty clear your just a whiny punk. If anyone is a "little man" it's you.
-
I want to cut myself on her elbows
-
lmfao. C ya Robs. That was some great entertainment seeing Russell and Rob go back and forth all season and tonight at tribal. Even if Russell makes it to the end there is no way he is getting any jury votes. Hell of a player, but such a seedy gremlin that pretty much has to play the game out b/c you gotta think he isn't lovable off the bat.
-
He was holding back and hiding. From what I couldn't decide. He has finally become the Hero I know he is, the Hero he is inside.
-
AND YES YES YES!!!! Woohoohoohoo!! Russell is just the shit. Love it. lol I'm guessin' Coach was the Courtney vote, which I can actually respect. And no, I don't have it bad for Courtney. That girl needs to eat about 25lbs of pasta and cheesecake.
-
...but doesn't win again and that's why he wanted to be called "sole Survivor" (or whatever it was) so bad.
-
As much as I'd like to see my beloved Amanda make it to final council and try not to choke again, I'm calling it -- this season is going to be a rerun of last season. Russell and some chick (this time Parvati instead of ...um, I can't even remember the name of the last winner) will get to the end. And Russell will have made all of the big moves, taken all of the bullets, and generally pissed everyone off enough that the jury gives the 1M to the coat-tail rider that went along with him. That might be the reason he was so pissed during the season 19 finale. He just left a similar situation on HvsV and realized the outcome was going to be the same for both shows.
-
I went to high school with her in Montana. We both lasted about the same length at said high school before we departed for separate reasons. Anyways, let me tell you, TV does not do her justice: she is even more stunning in person. But it is so cool to see someone I went to high school with from a very small town in Montana on a huge TV show. I've been watching Survivor avidly every season she's appeared on. I wish her the best of luck.
-
it was the perfect time for Coach to grow a pair. He should have pulled Rob and Russell aside and told them to put their cocks away for a second and listen to reason. "We need to keep the tribe strong and the only way to do that is by voting off Bag Of Antlers. Because, during a challenge and you're facing down a renewed Colby and JT who would you rather have standing next you each other or Courtney? You can continue your pissing contest after the fucking merge".
-
Only downside is that a huge part of the reason I was loving this season (Rob vs. Russell) is now gone. I'll still watch but unless another epic rivalry pops up real quick it just won't be the same...
-
......Russell says to Rob, that he thought either Sandra or Courtney should go home next - right in front of both Sandra and Courtney, and as if they weren't even in the same room, despite actually point to them. Sandra, she of "you better go wash your ass in the Ocean" from last week's tribal was speechless, as with Courtney while Rob was stunned that Russell could do that (more like had the balls to) in front of themif he expected to win their support later on. Um....no, Rob, he expects that they'll be gone shortly after you will, and will thus not need their support anyway.
Second best part of the episode was when Russell tells rob that he would never have the guts nor the balls (or brains) to do what he did last week by giving his immunity idol to Parvati - Rob, naturally had no come back to that, coz it was true.
Welcome to the big Leagues indeed. Hey Boston Rob, how about them Yankees? -
I hate to be cliche' and compare it to a chess match but Russell is just able to think so many more moves ahead than everyone else. Its amazing that he can do that in the aggressive way that he does.
Now that rob is gone I would like to see the merge as to give Russell something new to deal with.
and yes, the best part was Russell talking about Courtney and Sandra like they weren't even there. It's that kind of play that got him Jerry and Coach's vote. -
And yes, Russell has shown Bahstan Raaaab's punk ass the door. Rob's a great player, but because he's that good, it was easy for Russell to convince Jerri to vote to take out Rob instead of that walking anorexia spokesmodel Courtney. Honestly, I half-expected Courtney to just float down slowly to the netting like a leaf from a tree in late October.
But hey, at least Rob can go back home and say "Ambuh! I loves youse!" now.
-
for your Survivor blog at EW. Were it not for Jeff, I would not know about Amber's pics in Maxim: http://www.maxim.com/stuff/girls-of-stuff/37891/amber-brkich-ii.html
I suddenly feel less bad for Rob. I think his ejection was premature. Had they dumped Courtney instead of Rob, they might have avoided future councils, and had the numbers going into the merge. Survivor, however, is all about emotions and not math (Tyson last week).
Then I realized, Russel does not care about keeping his tribe strong, he cares about elminating threats ASAP. That's why he moved to eliminate Rob, at the cost of tribe-strenght. In this respect, he is playing the same game he played in Samoa from day 1. Russel prob thinks he could go into the merge as a one-man tribe, and find a way to get by.
I think him confronting Sandra/Courtney was great. It was a chance to let them: destroy each other (since Sandra will write down any name but her own), perhaps bring Rob into the fold (had Rob agreed with him), and maybe given Russel a restful non-scrambling afternoon. As it is, the Vs will lose the next two weeks, dump Sandra and Courney. The merge will happen at ten with a 5/5 makeup and the awesomeness will begin. -
You think he would have been pissed off enough about Tysons ouster to at least throw this to a 4-4 tie and let the two of them fight it out. He knew his Courtney vote would kill Rob.
What a fucking loser. And yes, I would love to bang Courtney. -
They sure were trying to make you think that from the promos for next week. So based on CBS' promo-editing history, I gonna go out on a limb and say that Russell will be ok.
-
Not voting for either Rob or Russell, not making a decision who to back, is making a decision. He was 100% right about Tyson - voting him out over Courtney or Sandra was good for Russell's alliance but bad for the tribe. He recognized this, was pissed about it, but did nothing about it, allowing, arguably, their best player to get voted out.On the other hand, can't really agree with you regarding Courtney. Sure, maybe if she were booty-calling me I might take her up on it, but couldn't really see myself going out of my way for her. I'm sure she looks great in the dark clubs, wearing some petite outfit perfectly formed to her petite frame. But get her home, and out of that outfit, under a more revealing light-source, would have me worriedly asking "where's the rest of you?" and wanting to feed her burgers instead of sausage.(very skinny girl).
-
He's more into his schtick than actually playing the fucking game. That was funny when Rob called "...a little man."
-
Can someone explain what would happen if russell and rob each had 4 votes?
-
I totally agree with you. I've enjoyed Survivor like an anthropologist -- fascinated to watch how the power structures of a tribe must be very similar to early humans. Especially how some of the women "survive" just by sliding up next to a dominant male and -- if she's made the right choice -- going all the way to the top. But the Hv.V season is more like watching Darwinism in action. Rob was like a neanderthal -- he just didn't have the tools to keep up with Russell's evolved game. He couldn't even see how it was all working. Even though he was the best at the game when he played, he just knew he was doomed last night: "He's coming for me." And he had no way of stopping it. What will be interesting is to watch a Survivor All Star show 5 years from now with Russell trying to handle the next generation of players that have evolved based on watching him play.
-
Boston Rob is my favorite player of all time. Just something about him that's entertaining as all get-out to me whether it be Survivor or The Amazing Race. With that being said, Russell is my second favorite, and I didn't want either of them to go. Rob's demise was because of Tyson's stupidity and Coach backing out of his word. If Coach had voted Russell it would've been a tie, and when that happens there's a revote with the two tied people not being able to vote again. Just think of the possibilities if Rob and Russell actually joined forces. Oh well, I hope Russell makes it to the end, because he's the only player I'm emotionally invested in. Rupert isn't the same this season, I cannot stand JT, Colby is a flash in the pan, but I do like Amanda. Villians is where it's at. I'm definintely trying out for next season.
-
If it had been 4 for Rob, 4 for Russell, there is another vote but the tribe can only vote either Rob or Russell. Both Rob & Russell would have been allowed to make their case why everyone should vote for the other guy. If it's still tied after the second vote, there is a tie-breaker. I think what they do is everyone picks stones out of a bag; picking the different-colour stone means you go home. I think the stone-picking thing is done by everyone except the two who were tied in the votes. It's a way to scare the tribe into making a decision; if they can't come to a majority choice on who gets voted out, those who were charged with making the decision risk going home themselves. While I can see why someone would not want to risk a tie, and therefore leave their fate, whether they stay or go, up to chance, I don't think this was Coach's reason for doing what he did. I'd respect Coach if he had forced a tie and left the decision of who is out up to fate. Putting his own neck on the line, as well as the necks of all those who let Rob & Russell do all the dirty work, would have been in keeping with his "warrior code" mantra. But no, he naively thinks everyone will do the "right thing" in putting aside the game of alliances and vote out the weakest player in order to keep the tribe strong. He does this even though he knows how everyone is voting, because they have told him, and because of what he heard at Tribal Council. He makes the decision to vote out Rob by voting for Courtney. Nothing honorable about that.
-
with Russell still in it. BR is a decent player but he is not as good as Russell. To be honest I don't care who gets voted off as long as its not Parvati, Amanda,Candace or the on with the big fake titties. Courtney would be real hot if she gained 20 lbs, trust me. She would be model hot.
-
20 lbs might be about right. I don't want her to look like a hoss but she could use a few pounds because right now she looks like McCaulley Culkin in "Home Alone".
-
need to date some real women sometime. You know, ones who don't look like 12-year-old boys.Honestly, that girl has no definable curves, breasts or anything remotely sexy. I mean, just compare her to Amanda and it's NIGHT & DAY.Courtney: http://tinyurl.com/yb2r85h Amanda: http://tinyurl.com/yznlzbb
-
Rob is much better in every challenge than Russel and is more of a leader. Sure, Russel is great at what he does, and his move at TC getting Tyson out was brillant-he's still not as good as Rob.
-
Big Jim, you are possibly right. You are 100% right that after a first tie vote it goes to another vote where the tribe can only vote for the two tied survivors. If the second vote is a tie, they've done a couple things in the past. They did draw rocks once. But more recently they have gone to a test of skill. Usually they have the two people on the block race each other in a fire building competition. I know Coach threw his vote away in an attempt to keep his honor but I was surprised he didn't force a tie given who he is. He is all about honor and being a warrior supposedly. So why not say, okay, I like you both, I'm forcing a tie so you two can battle it out like warriors and prove to us who should stay. And coach just seems broken this season. And his bravado and bullshit seems to have dried up and now he is sort of a sad little man. Come on, man! Bring back the crazy!!!
-
is how good you are at surviving. More of a leader? Better in a challenge? All that doesn't mean shit. Its all about making sure you don't have the most votes against you, and Russell owns Rob up one end and down the other in that department.
-
He mad Rob appear weak and stupid. The whole idol thing is a case in point. You want to bet that Rob would have loved to have had that idol in his pocket thursday night?
-
http://www.maxim.com/girls/girls-of-maxim/44623/julie-berry.html
And Probst hit that... -
The one that leaked before the season and has proven to be 100% accurate? Some of you are going to be extremely surpised this season, thats all i can say about that.
-
I enjoy Russell and the crazyness he has brought to two seasons of the show, but his game is full of problems. He has needed the idol to save his ass in back to back seasons. He needed it multiple times last season. Yes he found loopholes in the game, but at this point everyone playing the game from now on understands that part of the game. Everyone knows to look for idols without clues or without being told where they are hidden, probably to the point where the show will change the way they dish out idols. Either way, Russell's game won't work in the future. There are people playing this season who obviously don't get it, but this is the last time that happens. The rest of Russell's game involves going into merges incredibly weak and hoping there is a fracture on the other team, which is risky at best. This season he is doing that even worse than last season because this time he still has people on his tribe that actively don't like him and will jump at the chance to flip anywhere they can. Last time Sandra played she was so tight with Rupert that she threw away the tribe's food after he was voted off, then she won the game. People talk about Parv's history, but her people are down to Amanda, who probably has no interest in losing to Parv again. If Hatch had played season 2 with a bunch of people who never saw him play, he probably would have won again, but when he returned for all stars he was a non-factor. I think the same is true of Russell. No matter where he finishes, this season closes the window on him. He will never be a contender again.
-
...by reading spoilers for such a show? That seems like anarchy to me. Grab the pitchforks!
