Updated! AICN debuts the Tyler Stout posters for BEST WORST MOVIE!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with the debut of geek poster champion Tyler Stout's official one-sheet for the super fun documentary BEST WORST MOVIE which chronicles the second life of the truly horrible TROLL 2 as a so-bad-it's-good party favorite.
The trailer went up yesterday and now we have the posters! I'm not sure if these will be the theatrical posters or a Mondo-style limited edition, but I do know prints will be available in limited editions... I'll update this article when I have more information, but I figured you'd want to see 'em!
Update: Later today, Wednesday evening, the below two Stout posters will go on sale at this website right here! The Green and Gold is limited to 350 and the Gold and Silver variant is limited to 180. No word on pricing yet, but if you're a Stout fanatic at least you know where to pick 'em up!

There is one design, but two posters. The second Gold and Silver one will be a limited printing, but the Green on the poster makes it, in my opinion. So, my favorite is the first!

You're obviously a woman... Anyway, I saw the trailer and the movie looks funny. Reminded me a bit of the "trekies" doc. Can't say I'm going to go out of my way to see it, but I'd probably watch it on T.V. if I saw it on.

I've seen it and although there may be worse movies on a technical scale, you'd be hard pressed to find a movie with as random and nonsensical plot as Troll 2, it literally makes no sense whatsoever and keeps getting weirder as it goes on

Mutant Chronicles will never be topped as the worst piece of crap ever put on film. What the hell is wrong with you? The movie uses green dish soap as a special effect, has a kid peeing on his family's dinner to save their lives and a climactic showdown where a bologna sandwich is used as a weapon. How is that NOT funny?!?!?

i just recently received that in the mail and wow, i watched like 50mins and then gave up. it committed the worst sin any movie can for me, it was boring. i can watch any movie til the end no matter how bad but when a movie is so boring i am counting the seconds or i actually get up and do other things...yeah, thats not good. oh and i can count on one hand how many movies i've stopped before it ended so a movie's gotta be really bad if i do it.

i added the Troll double feature to my queue. i placed it on top so hopefully i get it soon but yes, all this talk on this site got my curiosity. i'm ready to waste 90mins i'll never get back...or 180 since i'll give part 1 a try as well.

If you want to know just how bad Troll 2 is just look it up on Wikipedia, read the synopsis then look it up on YouTube and watch some clips. It will blow your mind.

Fuck Troll 2. I'm tired of this shit. What is this, 2003, when the DVD came out, and everyone was sticking it up their ass? I'm tired of everyone talking about how 'awesomely bad' Troll 2 is. It's not. NO. And in no way in hell is it the 'best worst movie ever'. There's a few certain individuals who are trying their damnest to make this a cult classic, and that's just not how a cult classic is made.

And I think one of the other posters is right... someone is desperately trying to make this a "cult" classic.I haven't seen the movie, but the plot synopsis on Wikipedia makes it seem like there are two possibilities.1) This movie was written by a six year old with developmental problems.2) This movie was written by a pseudo-intellectual who's "deeper" meanings have been erased by poor direction/casting/acting/last minute script changes, etc...It's almost possible (from reading the plot outline) to see that this might have started life as a thinly veiled rant against militant vegetarianism. Or repressed homosexuality. Or both.

Troll 2 is of a level of ridiculous awfulness equal to that of Plan 9 and far beyond that of, say, Exorcist II: The Heretic. Its director was said to be only marginally proficient in English. That's certainly got to be a contributing factor.

I saw Best Worst Movie last year at TIFF and I'm so excited It’s coming to theatres in Canada now! They’re doing a Troll 2 / Best Worst Movie double feature nationwide.
