Exclusive: Loki, God of Mischief, to turn up in Woody Allen's next flick?

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a little bit of a scoop regarding the next Woody Allen flick. No, this isn't YOU WILL MEET A TALL DARK STRANGER with Naomi Watts, Anthony Hopkins and Josh Brolin, but the in development/shooting-this-summer untitled flick with Marion Cotillard, Owen Wilson and Rachel McAdams rumored to be involved. A trusty source calling herself/himself/itself The Manhattan Murderer dropped a line saying that Tom Hiddleston is joining the cast as well. Expect Hiddleston's name to be known throughout Geekland next year as THOR is unleashed. By all accounts Hiddleston's Loki will steal the movie. Speaking of Thor, it shouldn't be any surprise, but I've been hearing rumblings that those attending Comic-Con this year will get an eye-full. That's all I could pry from my usual Comic-Con leaker, but I'd bet the hope of Marvel Studios is to be the talk of the Con by bringing a ton of stuff and from what I hear it's looking gooooooodddddd. Here's Mr. Hiddleston if you're not familiar with his work:

I think Woody's been on a great run recently. I've thoroughly enjoyed WHATEVER WORKS and VICKI CHRISTINA BARCELONA. The dude can be hit and miss, but when he gets on a roll there's nobody like him. If nothing else this is another glowing endorsement of Hiddleston's talent as an actor. Allen doesn't tend to go for bland actors when casting up his flicks. -Quint quint@aintitcool.com Follow Me On Twitter
