I don't understand the point of "exclusive" clips like this. I mean, it's Tony Stark walking down a hallway speaking French. Not exactly a clip to get that excited about. That was a letdown, but of course I'm still very excited about seeing this movie. It's gonna rock.

The guy says they have a man in custody who doesn't speak French and speaks an accent they can't really pinpoint. That's about it.

Funny thing about the part where the car gets cut in two...

The nose of the car would contain the driver's legs, which would have been cut off, and it's not like there is room in there for the driver to pull them up and out of the way, assuming he even had the superhuman reaction time necessary to make the move.

That they aired on television before the release of Spiderman 3. Tobey McGuire was quoted as saying "There's so many twists and turns!" obviously feigning enthusiasm.

It comes close but no it wouldn't (yeah I looked it was bugging me to) besides from the looks of it there was a stunt man in the car and though the obviously Rourke doesn't cut the nose off it does come off.

TS (in horrible accent): Where are we going?
FM: Over there... We don't even know if he speaks English. In fact we don't even know if he speaks, he hasn't said a word since he got here, not a sound.

movie will suffer the bad syndrome of the sequels: bigger and louder
whats what i am afraid that might happen with IM2. -
not to rain on your parade, but most sequels suck and this one will likely follow suit. Favreau said himself at first that they didn't have enough production time to do it right. But he shut up and took the paycheck and probably did the best he could with the rush job. But it will most likely show onscreen with script and everywhere else.

As Favreau himself points out in a clip linked above, with Superhero films it's more often that the second one surpasses the first (though as he points out, third films tend to be worse).Spider-Man 2, X-Men 2, The Dark Knight, Hellboy 2, all more widely regarded as being improvements on the originals. Hell, even Fantastic Four 2 was slightly less shit than the first one, if only because of Doug Jones'/Laurence Fishburne's awesome Silver Surfer.
