Will Smith Mulling MIB Or CITY THAT SAILED!!

Variety says that Will Smith's next movie will be one of two titles we've already heard about...

It's down to two choices: Sony's "Men in Black III" or 20th Century Fox's fantasy-adventure "The City That Sailed."

Written by Andrew Niccol, the story follows a New York City street magician whose daughter, because of family circumstances, lives in England. In exploring a lighthouse one day, the girl discovers a room with magic candles and wishes to be reunited with her father, causing the island of Manhattan to break away and drift across the Pond.

Meanwhile, less is known about the new MEN IN BLACK project...other than it's being written by TROPIC THUNDER's Etan Cohen. One rumor has the plot line involving time travel, but that is a roundly unsubstantiated tidbit so do not take it to the bank. Smith is producing THE KARATE KID remake that'll be in theaters this Summer, and we recently heard he'll mount a remake of Garry Marshall's OVERBOARD as well (details HERE).
