UPDATED WITH WINNERS!! Two Blu-Ray Copies Of SOUTH PARK Season 13!! Herc’s Monday Giveaway Part II!!

Published at:  Mar 15, 2010 8:21:32 PM CDT

Provisionally winning new SOUTH PARK 13.x Blu-rays: @mrmovie1201am & @edcool1 if they send herculesAICN@yahoo.com their shipping addresses!

I am – Hercules!!

It’s Monday, the day we give stuff away in celebration of my first 10 years overseeing AICN’s TV section!

Today, in anticipation of the arrival of “South Park: The Complete Thirteenth Season” on DVD and Blu-ray - we are giving away TWO season-two Blu-ray copies of that set

All you have to do is:

1) “Follow” me on Twitter.

2) Constantly monitor my Twitter account between noon and 6 p.m. Pacific Time Monday, March 15. At some point during this window I will post a contest question on my Twitter account. Two of the first people to correctly answer this question via Twitter AFTER I pose it via Twitter will get his or her own copy of South Park: The Complete Thirteenth Season on Blu-Ray.

IMPORTANT!! To make things a little more difficult this week we’re not going to give the question here. But you’ll know it on my Twitter account because it will begin with “SPQ.” (That stands for “South Park Question.”)

IMPORTANT!! Your Twittered answer MUST begin with @hercAICN. Don’t screw this up!

IMPORTANT!! If you answer the question BEFORE I post the question in Twitter you will be automatically disqualified.

IMPORTANT!! This contest is only available to residents of the United States.

IMPORTANT!! If you are declared provisional winner, immediately forward Herc your shipping address and phone number: herculesAICN@yahoo.com. If you fail to do so within 24 hours, Herc will assign the prize to another.

Contestants are free to unfollow my Twitter account post-contest, but it might behoove them to remain following for two reasons:

1) I’m not a Twittering fiend. I’ve tweeted fewer than 600 times since I set up the account last April.

2) I’m going to be giving away a lot more supercool prizing via that account in the coming days and weeks. And I may be announcing these contests only on Twitter.

Again, I will update this post after the winner wins.

Season 14 of “South Park” launches Wednesday at 10 p.m. on Comedy Central.

If it's cheaper to press a BR than a DVD it makes sense.

    by pixelsmack

Otherwise all these television cartoons on Bluray is just DUMB.

    Substance...

    by henry fool

The only good thing about 9/11 is South Park. Before the neocons, Trey and Matt pretty much just made fun of consumerism and pedestrian superficiality. But the more our civil rights have been violated, the more anti-establishment, they've gotten. I hope SP stays on as long as The Simpsons and keeps on flipping the finger in the face of authority!

I hate the fact that they are on twitter and it's whoever gets it first. But on the good side, glad you're doing some giveaways.

    1) Wow, do people still watch this show? 2) Why would these hypothetical fans want a blu-ray of this? Does it make the flat, uninspired, inept 2D animation really *pop*?3)See question 1.

  • I can't imagine South Park, of all shows, benefitting much from the extra resolution.

    Twitter centric contests are unfair

    by tall_boy66

Seriously, there has been hundreds of contests on AICN in history that haven't involved following goddamn Herc on Twitter.
