Hercules Says Cyndi Lauper's Candor Makes Sunday Night’s CELEBRITY APPRENTICE Worth Your Valuable Time!!

I very much enjoyed tonight’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” which is now less of a very long commercial than is competitor “Undercover Boss” over on CBS.
The reason to watch tonight is Cyndi Lauper, who may have joined the show just to mock and disparage Donald Trump on behalf of her friend (and longtime Trump nemesis) Rosie O’Donnell.
Lauper (who at 56 looks fantastic) quickly emerges as the star of this edition, hilarious noting Trump is wrong to make fun of the overweight for “he himself is not a thin man.”
Lauper and Trump even exchange words in the boardroom regarding O’Donnell’s merits. The singer-songwriter clearly places a higher value on friendship and loyalty than on winning this nonsense competition.
Comic and “Seinfeld” writer Carol Liefer, another great addition to the cast, says of her all-female team: “As far as I’m concerned, these women are some dumb bitches.” This show needs more nasty comics
It’s clear from the way Liefer promotes a charity lunch that, without Lauper and Sharon Osbourne, the women’s team – which also includes Summer Sanders (who?), Maria Kanellis (who?), Selita Ebanks (who?) and Holly Robinson Peete (uh?) really doesn’t boast a lot of name recognition.
On the men’s side, I’d at least heard of Goldberg, Sinbad, Darryl Strawberry, Bret Michaels and Rod Blagojevich (if not sprinter Michael Johnson and chef Curtis Stone).

it's so hard to watch 2 hours of anything on TV something like this.. We should demand all reality crap be 1 hour, BB after dark is the only exception, I can for some reason watch those people eat and sit by the pool all night

She's the typical bitter ugly girl cum comic in the vein of other ugly female comics like Kathy Griffin and Joan Rivers. Of course she's going to attack her attractive female costars because that's her albatross that she's carried all her life....her ugliness.

That made me laugh. I didn't watch this but I bet it's true. I wish Goldberg would beat the shit out of Trump,or if they would bring Rosie on for a cameo and he can mule kick her in the head. Thats must see TV!!

Not usually a big fan of The Apprentice, but this season's cast actually seems pretty damn good. No complete retards like Rodman or Andrew Dice Clay ... so the competitions actually have the potential to be pretty interesting.

She's just too damn nice. In real life, that'd make her one of the best people to be around. In business, she's gonna get eaten alive. Even if she could step up & be a little more mean, which I doubt, she strikes me as a bit more artsy than businessy. That's gonna bite her in the ass later on.
I'm calling it now. Sharon VS Brett. Michaels is a dark horse. He's this season's Trace Adkins, not a business guy, but always pulls through in the clutch. Sharon's hell on high heels. She's another Joan or Piers. She's smart and she's gonna pick off Holly early, as Holly's her real competition. She'll use the other women like pawns and leave Cyndi until she no longer needs her high profile name.
Again, loved, loved, LOVED Cyndi on this. She's got a little heft to her these days, but she's still cute as a button at 56. Classy & down to Earth too. Shame that she'll be meat for the beast. -
I see Sharon doing that. Not that that's a bad thing.

She always does her Brooklyn "woman of the people" act, but she's very nasty to behind the scenes workers. Both my brother and a close friend worked on tv/photo shoots with her and she was bitchy & rude.

And she's been around a long time. I could be wrong, but I thought Elaine character on Seinfeld was based in part upon Ms. Liefer.And Kathy Griffin is hilarious.

She is Le Smokin', as the French say. Never saw her compete in athletics, but her short stint on some stupid Nick quiz show made a part of the 90's a bit more tolerable.

Talented writer etc. but not ugly? She looks like Dennis Leary in a wig. Awful. I found my self a bit surprised to be thinking about tossing it in Lauper. Chubby? no maam jusssst right.

said that he knew everything while laughing. He was making a joke. He was actually pretty funny last night ... especially when he was giving Donald grief about old ladies finding him attractive. The Donald's kids actually seem pretty down to earth and smart. And Ivanka is one epic piece of ass.

I consider myself to be a straight man (as does my girlfriend), but I don't know who Selita Ebanks is. Sorry, not everybody looks at and reads the same things. It's good that you are confident enough in your sexuality to label others, though. Class act.

...is that she didn't say one single funny thing all night. Not one. I also hate how ugly women automatically assume that being ugly means they are smarter than attractive women. The hotter women on last night's episode seemed to have more going on upstairs than she did, and I agree that Lauper is kinda hot for a dumpy woman. But compared to those other women, trust me, Leifer's ugly. Maybe at Caroline's comedy hour she's the best looking comic in the room...which is like being the skinniest person at a Dunkin' Donuts.
