ScoreKeeper Reveals The Rabbit-Hole Where Danny Elfman's Most Recent Interview Lurks.

Greetings! ScoreKeeper here directing all traffic toward a great new audio interview with Danny Elfman over at Film Music Magazine. Until I can snag an interview with Elfman myself (he is #1 on my wish list) I'll gladly settle for traffic duty. This time it's Dan Schweiger assuming the role of grand inquisitor and he certainly does not disappoint.

A couple of years ago, Dan conducted his first interview with Elfman and I thought it was one of the more revealing, interesting, and thought-provoking interviews Danny had given in some time.

This new exchange may be even better!

Elfman is fresh off scoring duties for ALICE IN WONDERLAND (2010) and takes time to shed some light on his recent experiences.     Danny Elfman in just awesome!

    Aside from the stuff I heard regarding his score for WOLFMAN, Elfman is a genious. His dark and twisted melodies and overtones to all the movies he's covered makes you wanna watch that movie again, simply for the score. I have a collection of his sountracks, and I gotta say, he's one of my faves. =)

    I interviewed Elfman!

    Well, I was backstage at a couple Boingo shows and got to chat with him for 10 minutes a couple times. Lovely man. I got down on my knees and bowed, he blushed.

    Sad I didn't get the chance to kidnap him so as to have my own personal Danny Elfman.
