Capone has the lucky Winners' Names for the Chicago ALICE IN WONDERLAND screening!!!
Hey everyone. Capone here, with the list of winners for tickets to see the AICN screening of ALICE IN WONDERLAND on Thursday, March 4 at 7:00pm.
We had more than 300 entries (or 600 seat request) for 200 seats, so competition was fierce.
Those who entered and won will receive an email from me shortly with the details on the location of the screening. If you entered this contest and your name is on the list, but you did not receive an email, let me know and I'll get you the details.
Please keep in mind that this is not an exclusive AICN event, and is slightly overbooked to make sure we have a full house. You should arrive early to make sure you get a good seat.

Folks like Dee Stiffler and Cliff Etters are apparently in dire need of a date for this screening...

Why the snubbing??!?!?!?!?!?!?
What have I done wrong?!?!?!?!!? -
I'm really fed up with Tim Burton. The man is now more predictable then gravity. It was not just the Planet Of The Apes debacle, which proved he can't make movies outside of his confort zone, but even in his confort zone his movies have became wank, like Big Fish, the movie that made me turn my back on Burton once and for all. Screw him, really.
-
I agree. I just don't understand what people see in him. Ever since Guillermo Del Toro and Alfonso started making films like Pan's Labyrinth, Children of Men, Hellboy 2, Prisoner of Azkaban, the idea that Tim Burton is a 'visionary' has become more and more laughable. 'Visionary' doesn't mean 'shit script, not story, over-egged art direction' - but lots of people seem to think it does. Nor does 'visionary' mean 'too many special effects'. I just saw Soderberg's CHE films, and I'd say they were pretty visionary. They looked at a historical character, and a historical setting, in a way I'd not seen before.
-
Absolutly. You said it, brother. As for CHE, brillant, brillant movie. And by that i mean, both parts as one movie. It's not for nothing that Criterion picked it for a full DVD release.
