Breck Eisner's THE CRAZIES is one of the most pleasant surprises of early 2010: a brutally effective horror flick that infuses George A. Romero's clever 1973 original with the atmospheric widescreen sensibility of John Carpenter. Aside from a few modern-day flourishes, it's a throwback to a time when suspense mattered more than the inventiveness of the kills, and individual shots played longer than seven seconds. Best of all, the sociopolitical element of Romero's work has been preserved and updated to reflect the delightfully contentious world of today!

As usual, I'd advise you to get to the theater an hour early. Please bring some kind of photo ID for checking-in purposes.
As soon as I've filled the theater, I will post the list of attendees right here on the site, so keep checking back tomorrow and Wednesday.

Yea, apparently he'll be playing Blackbeard. If that's true, it sounds like perfect casting. Y'know, I think AICN is deliberately only reporting the shitty stories to try and get rid of some of the regulars. I think Harry, Beaks et al are sick of all of our bitchin and complainin' and are trying to chase us away. Fair fucks. If the shitty articles continue for another week I ain't comin here again news.

We shouldn't HAVE to read it at other sites. Its Cool News. Something like that is what this site has ALWAYS reported on. This used to be the one stop shop for Cool Movie News. Now the main page is filled with screenings and screening winners. You could read about the American Pie news at EVERY other site too, so your argument is flawed.
