* ABC’s “The Forgotten” is showing signs of life for the first time in months, with “Lost” giving it a bigger lead-in than “Dancing With The Stars” and a much, much bigger lead-in than the “Scrubs”/”Better Off Ted” combo.
* “Idol,” predictably, went up with Ellen DeGeneres’ debut as a permanent judge.
* A special post-“Idol” launch for “Past Life” hit 3.1, short of the 3.3 a repeat of “Human Target” did in that slot a few weeks ago and well short of the 3.8 earned by “Kitchen Nightmares” in that slot last week. Look for “Past Life” to be eviscerated in its regular 9 p.m. Thursday slot.
* “NCIS Los Angeles” was weirdly strong, matching lead-in “NCIS” for the first time despite the increased competition from “Lost.”
* Coming after the unusually strong “NCIS LA,” “Good Wife” matched its season high. Blame those Super Bowl promos!
* Without having to compete with “Lost” at 10 p.m., USA’s “White Collar” reversed its slide.
* Oxygen’s “Bad Girls Club” enjoyed a similar post-“Lost” rebound, matching its season high in 18-49.

I've wasted many an hour watching Deadliest Catch, nothing completes a Sunday afternoon of sloth like a Discovery marathon. Capt Phil Harris, you risked your life for many many tasty snack foods, rest in peace.

Gonna be a hard season to watch without Phil.

But when the man makes an art of lighting the next cigarette with the still lit butt of the last even after a heart attack, you knew it wouldn't be long. Seemed like a nice enough guy tho. Out of all the reality shows & people famous for doing nothing, that guy worked his ass off & put it on the line for his family long before the fame came. Gotta give him respect for that.

AICN being THIS obsessed with ratings? It just really seems it shouldn't be anywhere near this site, or at least certainly what this site used to be. It's just so much more of a "business" aspect of things than what should be here.

ABOUT LENO!! I hope NBC sees this, but I doubt it. Not even viewers were curious enough to tune into his god awful abortion of a show's finale!!! I PRAY to JESUS CHRIST that he doesn't regain his ratings on the Tonight Show. I hope he rots at 11:35.

I don't see him ever agreeing to that. Idol is a pile of shit karaoke contest. The only way I see Stern going on it is to rip it a new asshole, in which case he would be immediately fired. So it would never happen. Leno can go suck a dick. Nobody cares about CBS, but did anybody see Letterman last night? He said to stay tuned for Craig KILBORN, and they dubbed 'Ferguson' over it. And Ferguson mentioned it on his show. I'd be pissed if my boss forgot my name after working for him for like 5 years haha. But he owns the joint, so whatever.

will likely go back to normal. I hope they don't, but I'm pessimistic (or realistic), and if his audience actually liked him, then they won't care about all the crap that went down. Plus, why should they tune in when he'll be back in like two weeks? It's not a farewell show, because HE'S NOT GOING ANYWHERE. Dickbag.

It sucked. Hard core. Conan's last episode was funny, Jay's episode was bland, just like Jay himself. -
I love how it's always the 18-49 ratings and not the overall rating. As many on this site have said Leno's audience isn't 18-49. Now we have to wait until March to see how he tries to manipulate Jay's ratings win to sound like a loss.
