I hate to just shit on your work, but, really, you guys ought to stick to the reviews. Nobody comes to AICN to load an image-intensive page of random comics that have already been previewed on the major comics sites.

NERO; The exposition STAR TREK couldn't fit in the movie

    by yackbacker

Comic books don't count, Boborci. Next time you do a villain, have him make sense within the context of the movie. I still liked STAR TREK, but that was some lazy shit writing.

100 %. And yes, some of us actually do like this column. Some of us look forward to it. Some of us don't spend all of our free time on the internet going from one comic book site to another, so this info IS helpful.

    G-strings in Old Salem???

    by johnny ahab

Now I realize that Zenoscope is known for its generous cheesecake, but I was amused by how over the top it was in the Salem's Daughter cover. Not that I'm complaining - it's a hot cover, just pushing the boundaries of ridiculous and gratuitous skin!

Yackbacker: Movie people are just getting lazy.

    by toilet_terror

They want all this ancillary crap, but they don't want to put any more thought into their 'creation'. So they just cut pieces of the original story away for comics, toys and videogames like so much sandwich meat being sliced off a ham. Doesn't leave much left for Christmas dinner, does it!? Hell, sometimes they cut off the ENDING for the supposed SEQUEL. GOOD FUCKING SATAN. Thinking about Hollywood drives me bonkers.

Why don't the makers of Salem's Daughter just

    by god's brother

go ahead and make it X-rated? It's obviously trying to be a soft-core porn comic, why hold back? Pretending it's anything else is ridiculous.
