Daniel Dae Kim, who’s already spent nearly six years in Hawaii shooting “Lost,” will be there at least a little longer. The actor, familiar also to fans of “Angel” and “24,” will step into the sizeable shoes of Kam Fong to play Chin Ho Kelly in the pilot for CBS’ remake of “Hawaii Five-0.” The remake is overseen by writer-producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci, who collaborated with “Lost” co-creator J.J. Abrams on “Alias” “Fringe” and last year’s “Star Trek” movie. Alex O’Loughlin, star of CBS’ one-season wonders “Moonlight” and “Three Rivers,” is reportedly being sought to play Steve McGarrett, head of Hawaii’s fictional Five-0 state police agency.
