Syfy Has Chosen The Actress Who Will Play Hot FBI Girl Audrey Parker In Its New Superpeople Thriller HAVEN!!

I am – Hercules!!
Emily Rose, who played the duplicitous Cass on “John From Cincinnati,” the helpful Jennings & Rall employee Trish on “Jericho” and latter-day County General intern Tracy on “ER,” will now play FBI special agent Audrey Parker on Syfy’s new sci-fi series “Haven.”
The “Twin Peaks”-like series will follow Parker as she investigates a murder in a small Maine town teeming with people in possession of secret superpowers.
Five writers who worked on USA’s “The Dead Zone” -- Scott Shepherd, Lloyd Segan, Shawn Piller, Sam Ernst and Jim Dunn – are working on the series.

Like “Dead Zone,” “Haven” is allegedly based on a work by Stephen King, in this case the the novella “The Colorado Kid,”
but I’m candidly puzzled as to how that can be since “Kid” contains no FBI girl or superpowered people.
Here again are conflicting descriptions.
“Colorado Kid” (via Publisher’s Weekly):
Fresh out of journalism school, Stephanie McCann is an intern at a weekly newspaper in an obscure corner off the coast of Maine. She is writing homey features and reporting on trivial stories, but she rather enjoys it. Then a big-city reporter comes to town to gather stories about "unsolved mysteries." The paper's owner and the managing editor send him away unsatisfied, and then tell Stephanie the only real unsolved mystery on the island.
“Haven” (via the press release):
Deep in the heart of Maine, Haven is a town where people with supernatural abilities have migrated for generations because it mutes their powers, allowing them to lead normal lives. At least, until recently. When hot-shot FBI agent Audrey Parker is called to Haven to solve the murder of a local ex-con, she catches the killer but uncovers a much deeper mystery about this town. Each week, as the town-peoples’ dormant powers begin to express themselves, Audrey will try to keep these supernatural forces at bay while unraveling the many mysteries of Haven – including one surrounding her own surprising past in this extraordinary place.

Are we all already used to Syfy instead of Sci-Fi?? Tell the truth.
-
Something small but close enough that they had to say that or risk being sued.
-
Elena Fisher in the Uncharted games, which makes her a superstar in my books.
-
... must be based on a Stephen King story.
Speaking of which, are the making series/movies of "Cell" or "Under the Dome"? I thought I heard something about "Cell"... -
The one who voiced Elena in Uncharted? Count me the fuck in.
-
She looks like a female Haley Joel Osment.
-
She was a standout in JfC.
-
had nothing to do with virtual reality but they found a way to include that in the movie and fuck it up.
-
The short story is about a guy who eats grass.
Somehow, that became a movie about retards and virtual reality. -
And Elena is hot too...for a digital character.

Wow, FBI agents gets younger and younger each year!
by hollywoodhellraiser
BULLSHIT and since this is SYFY all they will need is a 1.0 in ratings to be declare a winner!
-
I've seen fbi before and they have never been that young and attractive.
-
Nice. I thought it was Maggie Grace from the picture at first.
-
Like we haven't got enough already.
-
Or maybe like Haley Joel and Ali Larter fucked and had a kid who was aged superfast in a test tube somewhere.
-
That has to be it! IT's a new program-club where teens can see what it's like to be an FBI agent, solve a mystery like one of those murder-dinner parties, and dress like Scully, Clarice or Olivia Dunham. Oh, wait they all have the same wardrobe...?
-
...my bad (see above post).
-
when it comes to people being too young (or young looking) for parts. Meanwhile you want all your AARP 80's-90's action heroes to keep kicking ass...
-
Usually chicks are all used up and worn out looking by that age

Wasn't Audrey Parker the title character from an episode of 4400
by johnny smith
Just sayin'.
-
went into conceptualizing this series?
-
I've had enough of this crap! How about a series that doesn't look cheap, have a different 'power' or 'monster' every week and has a story arc...has LOST taught noone anything?
-
An entertaining tale of breaking in: Sam and Jim go to Hollywood. Find them on iTunes, don't read the show descriptions. Start listening from the beginning.
-
... that all FBI agents in genre TV be female nowadays? It would actually be a novelty to see a male FBI agent.
-
It's tried and tested, the masses love it. It's become almost Cop procedural to have a female Cop/detective/FBI/CIA. Hollywood nowadays cannot tell a story with it being a Cop. Also a female too. Think CSI needs plenty of women helps get both genders on board when you have both male/female.

of a bird if you can't see the rack???
