Favreau Casting TRON Girl Olivia Wilde In COWBOYS & ALIENS??

Olivia Wilde, the “Tron Legacy” star who played Marissa Cooper’s lesbian love on “The OC” before turning up on “House” as 13, is negotiating to star opposite Daniel Craig (“Quantum of Solace”) in “Cowboys & Aliens.”
She's pretty!
Jon Favreau (the “Iron Man” series) is directing from a screenplay by Alex Kurtzman & Roberto Orci (“Star Trek”) and Damon Lindelof (“Lost”). Kurtzman, Orci and Lindelof are also scripting J.J. Abrams’ second “Star Trek” movie.
According to The Hollywood Reporter:
Wilde will play a character named Ella who joins up with mysterious gunslinger in an unlikely uprising against an alien invasion.
This project has yet to make any bad moves!
And if you think this story is just an excuse to post hot photos of Olivia Wilde, I remind you that cynicism is one of the attributes Conan O’Brien likes least.

Hugh Laurie is great (would have loved to see him as Perry White in Superman Returns, as, I think, was originally planned) and the character development is pretty good, but I get really frustrated with the "disease of the week/we have no idea what it is until the last 5 minutes of the show when House has an epiphany (usually triggered someone else saying something unrelated) and makes a connection that no one else made and saves the patient with only moments to spare."
Wilde has only been on for a couple seasons, and they've followed that exact formula since day one. So, maybe the dullness isn't really her fault. -

I don't give a fuck how much money was made by the movies these two hacks have written. Not a single one will stand the test of time. But I guess that doesn't bother Orci since he sold his soul long ago. You know, I just watched Back to the Future the other day and what a beautifully written movie. Supremely entertaining, while being intelligent and exciting. But above all else, it was ORIGINAL, something that will never be said of Orci and Kurtzman’s hackwork as they continue to suck Hollywood’s dick.

Then again, I really like all of the other characters (which is the whole appeal of the show, not the formulaic medical procedural). So while 13 may be a less well-conceived roll, the actress isn't good enough to overcome it.

But seriously, I do not like Orci and Kurtzman. And I've been watching their shit ever since they were writing on Xena. By the by, Ted Raimi played one of them once, a long time back. As a pyjama wearing manchild/hypernerd with a Forrest Gump like IQ.
In hindsight, I wish Ted could have won some awards for that authentic portrayal. -

That movie sucked such mighty stinky balls that I was about ready to piss on the cinema screen, and then... Olivia turns up as the Queen (can't remember of where) at the end of the movie. Thought I'd have a lot of explaining to do at the fact I had to remain seated for half an hour, but it turns out Mrs Spud-To-Be would like to fuck Olivia as much as I would.
