It's a pretty poorly put together trailer but it does look promising.
I really would have thought from the comics that they were aiming for Clooney but that guy from Supernatural is also a pretty good call; Chris Evans too was not a name I had thought of but the bit in the trailer where he does the 'fingers' gun is straight out the book and totally perfect.
My only issue is with Zoe Saldana, I mean she's hot an all but she doesn't really look like no Middle Eastern ear-slicin maniac like she's supposed to be
Can't remember the name of the sniper character but I always saw Danny Trejo in that part, even though I guess he was meant to maybe be some kind of redneck...
Fuck it though, best of luck with this film. It was clearly written from the start to be adapted into a movie and although that annoyed me at the time I'm glad some geeks are getting paid -

Frankly. And trust, The A-Team is Laffy Taffy to the Losers' Jack Daniels. That's the point. Go to Vertigo's website and see for yourselves. Best comic ever. I just hope the movie doesn't blow - this trailer should have been dripping with style. Oh well, we'll see.

Alot of those scenes are directly outta the comic book especially the part with Chris Evans as Jensen shooting those guys with his fingers. White guys love Zoe Saldana cuz she's a skinny black chick with mostly caucasian features ( sorry just keeping it real). And the Sniper's name is Cougar for whoever was asking.

Is she still blue in this movie? THey should make a remastered edition where all Zoe's scenes are of her Na'vi character. She'd be like the first Na'vi actress in a HOllywood film which would be a very progressive sep forward for our society up until she becomes the first Na'vi actress to win an Academy Award right after they give it to the first Na'vi Denzil Washington!

but I'm there opening weekend. A few points of interest are Cougar's face being shown so much, as I don't think his face was EVER shown in the comics. I also wish an actress of Middle Eastern descent was cast as Aisha. The character might lose some of her...character, other wise. They could have cast the actress from Slumdog who played Latika and it would have been perfect. I'm also wondering if they explore the mystery(and reveal) of Max's secret, but I don't want to give that away to anyone who hasn't read the comics. Either way, opening weekend. Guaranteed.

but has anyone read Kick-Ass #8 yet? It's an entertaining end to a so-so opening salvo for a new "world" from Millar and Romita Jr. Really enjoyed Romita Jr. drawing Hit Girl shooting bad guys in their assholes, but I wasn't a fan of things ending up just UGLY for Dave.

i love zoe because she's hot, period. i could care less about her skin color. a hot girl is a hot girl, race is never an issue. there's hot girls in all the colors of the rainbow, just like there are ugly ones. speaking of her though, how'd Avatar get a PG rating when her boob showed in a few places? animation gets away with everything. :P

Bakc to the trailer. Was a big fan of diggles losers and am excited about this movie, but as many other people said, the trailer would do almost nothing for me, if I weren't already a fan and would know the story from the books is awesome. I'm kinda worried.

Although I did enjoy both S A films for what it was. The Losers look like a return to B grade action films.Plus I give props to Jeff Morgan for his role in the Watchman.Great portrayal as the Comedian.I'll check this one out.

Both seems to be about soldiers who were betrayed/set up by someone, and both are being followed by the U.S government afterwards. Both have awesome casts, both have an incredibly hot chick (Zoe Saldaña and Jessica Biel) and both seem to have some over-the-top action with witty humor. With that being said, why can't you people just feel excited about both? The more the merrier, I always say. Both films look fun as hell, and I can't wait to watch 'em.

You bet. Diggle's Losers worked very well in print, but it looks like this film version has papered over a lot of the cold, emotional baggage, particularly from Zoe Saldana's character. I could get all cranky, but as adaptions go, they have the look and it even looks like they're trying to stick to the plot of Ante Up, which isn't such a bad thing.
