Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. It's hard to believe it's been 3 years since the big Alamo Drafthouse reunion screening of one of my favorite childhood films: The Monster Squad. At that time we were able to bring in Fred Dekker, Andre Gower, the lovely and adorable Ashley Bank and the coolest cool kid of the '80s Ryan Lambert. It was a great show at the original Downtown Alamo that Fred and the cast attributed to the interest in the movie that eventually got the movie onto DVD.
Now the good folks at the Alamo have decided it's time to revisit the flick on the big screen and are bringing out a ton of people including co-writer and director Fred Dekker, co-writer Shane Black (!!!), head of the Squad Andre Gower and the only member of the cast we're 100% sure has nards... the wolfman himself, Mr. Jon Gries. There are others that are being confirmed as we speak.

I'm going to let my good friend Zack Carlson MC the event this time out. For one, he's much better at it than I am and for two... I just want to enjoy the show! I'll be there with bells on... and I'll even bring along the Amulet for people to worship in person!
Also, it is worth mentioning that the great Tyler Stout is doing a Monster Squad poster and you'll be able to get it first at the show. How cool is that?
