* USA’s “Monk,” competing against a lot of old movies and repeats, hit a season high and beat every broadcast show in 18-49 except “20/20.” Its series finale, “Mr. Monk and the End, Part II,” in which Monk tries to solve the crime that drove him nuts, arrives this Friday.

* “Ugly Betty” hit a series low. ABC just announced it’s moving it to Wednesdays at 10 p.m., replacing “Eastwick.”

beat out most of the concerts on NBC.
-
Surprisingly amusing this season, thanks to evil super villain Russel. The man found THREE hidden immunity idols. 2 without clues at all.
-
Nothing decent on the tube last weekend.... Reruns of Mentalist and CSI rule Thanksgiving and what about my favorite American: Dexter How do we interpret that 0.8?
-
I think Shambo's going home this week, though. Promos are gunning for her.

Conan is hilarious tonight for the second straight
by supercowbell5thecowbellhasspoken
Night. He's brought the edge back. The NBC suits got to him for a bit but now he's back baby!!!!
-
I'll miss that show. :(
-
But I caught a few eps this year and I'm suddenly hooked again. Agree with lockes, Russell and Shambo are awesome, I hope they end up being the final two.
-
This Sunday's Dexter was another epic episode. Only 2 left ;(
-
You can try following Russell around to make sure he doesn't find the hidden immunity idol and he'll still smoke you by finding it. Dude was born for the game.
-
but he kicked Paul McCartney's Ass!
-
great story on TMZ, he's suing a guy that ended up with a stolen car from the movie Cobra and he starts his letter with: "Crime is a disease. Meet the cure."
-
is because most black people are too poor to own a TV, it doesn't mean no-one gives a shit about the sport, just that the people who want to watch it aren't able too.White sports score much higher because white people are more likely to have jobs and be able to afford televisions. It's simple economics Herc, making a statement like "no one gives a shit about basketball" is really misinformed. The fact is that the basketball games probabaly got more individual viewiewrs but places like halfway houses and prisons would only count as one TV even if numourous people were watching it.
-
feel free to skip the dreadful clip show next year.
-
But come on
-
Apparently, Jett hasn't heard of Goodwill, where you can pick up a serviceable 19-inch for 20-30 bucks. Also, since when do white people not care about basketball? This guy has never been to Boston, I'd wager. Ignorant.
-
Think it over NBC.
-
You have made my fucking day.
-
He just spent so much time last year focused on writing for Mad Men that he has trouble getting out of that mindset.Survivor was a clip show, but with new stuff. We found out that Russell told Mick the truth about his being a millionaire oil man. Best part, though, was Shambo trying to explain to Monica why Galu was "no more". Monica's whiney "but why does it have to be that way" was funny. However, the best laugh I got was from Monica's reasoning on why voting out Eric didn't signal the end of the Galu alliance: "Eric was false purple". Honestly, that girl is the worst kind of coaster. She's happy to just go along with whatever her bloated alliance says; never once giving thought to what happens once all the non-Galu, and "false purples" are gone.
-
All Stars Season 2 is after this one, and reportedly Shambo and Russell are in it.
-
Herc, I think you've just come up with a new expression for oral sex. "My wife is going to give me a little Monk Gobble tonight..."
-
Any word on other people for Survivor All-Stars? I'd love to see Kenny, Bob, and Sugar from Gabon. I'm sure Coach will be on there, but I hope not. Maybe the bicyclist dude from Tocantis. I'd also like to see Erik from Fans vs. Favorites, that dude was awesome and deserves a second chance to try and live down getting played so hard.
-
two survivors, plus some favorites from other seasons like Yau Man, etc.
-
THe only reason he has made it this far is because most people don't realize how he's playing. On All Stars he will be an outcast because no one will trust him.
-
All the people I'd actually want to see from the first two Survivors probably won't show. If I have to put up with one more second of Sue Hawk, I may vomit.
-
The guy was good for the first Survivor, but it has evolved past his arrogance. He was clowned in the first All-Stars.
-
He couldn't get a passport to travel. Rupert and Jonny aren't on either. I'd say people from the last three or four Survivors are best bets.

Honestly, I think if you've been on Survivor twice...
by liesandpicturesofalsolies
That's enough. After that you're just too used to the game.
-
that crazy guy who got burned with the fake idol about three seasons ago. I can't remember his name but he thought he had an idol so he acted like an asshole to everyone so they would try to vote him off. Then that crazy blonde chick made fun of him at tribal. I would like to see them both go at it again.
-
You're thinking of Randy and Courtney, I believe (God, I am such a Survivor nerd). Courtney has already turned down a second Survivor once before, unfortunately. Probst said he loved Randy, so maybe there's a chance.
-
It was an amazing run....well not really.
-
I'd also like to see that other old dude who was on a few seasons ago. The one that the black chick wanted him out so bad she was yelling at the tribal.
-
Remember instead of bringing friends or family to the final episode, he brought some people he had never met before. Man that had me laughing so hard.
-
Survivor: Champions
Maybe set it on the moon. -
I know I haven't... not since Jordan retired for good.
