* USA’s “Monk,” competing against a lot of old movies and repeats, hit a season high and beat every broadcast show in 18-49 except “20/20.” Its series finale, “Mr. Monk and the End, Part II,” in which Monk tries to solve the crime that drove him nuts, arrives this Friday.

I think Shambo's going home this week, though. Promos are gunning for her.

  • You can try following Russell around to make sure he doesn't find the hidden immunity idol and he'll still smoke you by finding it. Dude was born for the game.

The reason basketball scored so low...

    by jettl93

is because most black people are too poor to own a TV, it doesn't mean no-one gives a shit about the sport, just that the people who want to watch it aren't able too.White sports score much higher because white people are more likely to have jobs and be able to afford televisions. It's simple economics Herc, making a statement like "no one gives a shit about basketball" is really misinformed. The fact is that the basketball games probabaly got more individual viewiewrs but places like halfway houses and prisons would only count as one TV even if numourous people were watching it.

    by liesandpicturesofalsolies

Apparently, Jett hasn't heard of Goodwill, where you can pick up a serviceable 19-inch for 20-30 bucks. Also, since when do white people not care about basketball? This guy has never been to Boston, I'd wager. Ignorant.

    by big jim

He just spent so much time last year focused on writing for Mad Men that he has trouble getting out of that mindset.Survivor was a clip show, but with new stuff. We found out that Russell told Mick the truth about his being a millionaire oil man. Best part, though, was Shambo trying to explain to Monica why Galu was "no more". Monica's whiney "but why does it have to be that way" was funny. However, the best laugh I got was from Monica's reasoning on why voting out Eric didn't signal the end of the Galu alliance: "Eric was false purple". Honestly, that girl is the worst kind of coaster. She's happy to just go along with whatever her bloated alliance says; never once giving thought to what happens once all the non-Galu, and "false purples" are gone.

    by liesandpicturesofalsolies

Any word on other people for Survivor All-Stars? I'd love to see Kenny, Bob, and Sugar from Gabon. I'm sure Coach will be on there, but I hope not. Maybe the bicyclist dude from Tocantis. I'd also like to see Erik from Fans vs. Favorites, that dude was awesome and deserves a second chance to try and live down getting played so hard.

I can't remember his name but he thought he had an idol so he acted like an asshole to everyone so they would try to vote him off. Then that crazy blonde chick made fun of him at tribal.
