    Veridian Dynamics commercials are back

    by xiphos_2

Those are the best part of Better of Ted which is a very funny show. Scrubs is the show that won't die its the new According to Jim.

How come Randy Jackson isn't in The Jacksons?

    by drunkenbusboy

Anyone know why he is not participating in the reality show? Of course I mean Michael & Tito's brother and not the American Idol Judge! ;)

    Great. Scrubs

    by bizarrojerry

A new show built from the corpse of another one. As one ad said, "Everything's new except the title!" I'm really not interested in an all new group of young interns learning and loving and shit. And I don't care how many random episodes Zach Braff walks into for five minutes.

    Astronauts in outer space???

    by residue73

No shit. GOddamn GayFy. Ok, that's the worst title ever, fine. I expect no less from syfy. It's such a shame that with a large company behind them, that a channel claiming to be about Science fiction produces horrible crap like anaconda 9 and ss doomtrooper. Why can't they pool their pennies (maybe get some money from the Comcast-NBC deal?) and keep dollhouse or Terminator alive? There's a lot of potential Sci-Fi fantasy properties out there that could survive in a well cultivated environment. I wish NBC/Universal would step up.

    Scrubs: UGH

    by saluteyourshorts

Wasn't HAPPY DAYS so much better after Ron Howard left and they had no idea what to do with the story and characters? They made Fonzie a dad to an orphan at one point. Remember when LAVERNE left LAVERNE & SHIRLEY? That made sense. How about when Topher Grace left THAT 70s SHOW, and we got some new dude that no one remembers? DON'T KEEP THESE SHOWS ON THE AIR WHEN THE SHOW HAS PEAKED, THE MAIN CHARACTER LEAVES, AND YOU HAVE NOTHING LEFT TO SAY. Scrubs, at it's best, was one of the most unique and interesting comedies on television. Hilarious and fun and possibly the most perfect mix of comedy, drama, reality, and fantasy I've ever watched on the boob tube. And the very fact that the show revolved around Zach Braff's character -- he is the NARRATOR of the show -- makes me scratch my head at the very idea of how or why it would continue without him. And the last episode of last season, with him leaving and the montage of what might come of his future, was a beautiful and perfect series finale to this at times perfect series. That one episode made up for the last two awful seasons. But now, well... ugh.

    by big jim

Is it a show about different women who are pregnant?"I'm Pregnant and I'm a Serial Killer""I'm Pregnant and I Eat Kittens for Breakfast"I'm Pregnant and I See Dead People""I'm Pregnant and I Shot J.R."I'm Pregnant and I am Spartacus""I'm Pregnant and I'm King of the World""I'm Pregnant and Hercules is the Father"

    Men Of A Certain Age

    by skimn

The combo of Braugher, Bakula and Romano looks interesting, but didn't Mike Binder do this years ago on HBO?? Yea Better Off Ted. And could this be the season that a meteor strikes the Kardashian household?

    Reality

    by joed

Judging by the sheer number of new reality shows on that list there are two things that can happen. 1) we are getting terrifyingly close to the world imagined in Idiocracy (what with shows called "Jersey Shore", "Teen Mom", "Outer Space Astronauts", "Psychic Kids", and "BBQ Pit Masters"). or 2) we are seeing the death throes of television as a medium, as it flails for the lowest of the lowest common denominator. Here's hoping its option 2.

    I will give season 9 a chance

    by theminn

I am skeptical but I love Scrubs so I will give it a chance. I have read only one review, thus far, of the premiere (ign.com) and I feel more comfy with it. As for Better Off Ted, hell yeah!

Arquette that much better, and she is the visual reminder of married life, married to bald, dumpy Ian Gomez.

    Scrubs

    by d_t

It looks like they're attempting to do two things: 1) jump start the show again with a new cast (and try to run it with "all new" interns for a few years, and 2) get a feel for a new show(s) spinoff from one of the original characters "no longer an intern" zany hijinks.

If I don't see some floating head doctor or a Doctor Acula reference by EP2 I'm out.

re: Christa Miller. Always had the hots for her on Scrubs, she's still not bad on CT, but yeah, the "work" she had is not quite natural.

    Spectacle

    by raromo

Elvis Costello's Spectacle is an incredible show. Elvis interviews musical greats on stage in front of an audience, then they jam together. Fantastic. Elvis knows as much about music as Scorsese knows about cinema.

    Scrubs missing characters?

    by leftfoot

2 new episodes of Scrubs and no appearances of Turk's wife, Cox's wife or the Janitor? Many other minor characters not seen. Did they have to trash so many characters? Are some of the actors contractually obligated to other projects? ( I miss Carla. )

Janitor did appear in a flashback

    by big jim

but maybe he'd rather focus on being the dad on The Middle than keep playing the same character he'd been doing for the past 8 years. Maybe same can be said of Cox's wife (although the character she plays on Cougar Town seems quite similar). The Todd popped up a couple of times. The spoiled rich kid Cole reminded me of James Franco. Turns out he's his younger brother.
