Even better news: Bob will be played by H. Jon Benjamin (“Important Things With Demetri Martin”), who played major roles in Bouchard’s “Katz,” “Movies” and “Lucy.”

    Finally...

    by monsterkilledthepilot

a show worthy to replace King Of The Hill. I was afraid they were gonna come up with another show from the "mind" of Seth Macfarlane.

    But what about Brendon?

    by tylerthebold

I always thought that it was Brendon Small that made Home Movies what it was.
Frankly the other shows listed don't give nearly as much credit

The interesting thing here is H. Jon Benjamin. You don't get no better show.

    it's Lede btw, not Lead.

    by s0nicdeathmonkey

And the existence of a show is far more important than the casting of a lead actor. How do you report on the casting of the lead actor without first knowing what the show is and if it is actually being made?

H Jon is the best voice actor in toons

    by jo3yhuds

Just the sound of his voice makes me laugh. Maybe it's because I always picture the coach from Home Movies trying to assemble that grill, but he and Patrick Warburton have me at "Hello".

Home Movies. Found it odd when Paula Poundstone

    by v'shael

    voiced the mother.

Almost as disturbing (in hindsight) as Michael Jackson on the Simpsons hanging out with a 10 year old boy.

    Where the heck is "Azusa"?

    by asimovdiedofaids

Anyway, in typical FOX fashion I expect 5 or 6 eps, followed by cancellation. It's not run by Seth (Mongo) McFarlane after all, whose second job is apparently orally washing the balls of Rupert Murdoch (it's the ONLY explanation for his curious success).

They were on tour with Mastadon, and I caught the final show in San Jose. I didn't know what to expect, but they were awesome. I really enjoyed the show.

    Fox is becoming....

    by karuma

...the cartoon network. Not to say I don't like cartoons but Child, please. If I wanted to watch cartoons I would go elsewhere. Although some of fox's attempts have been popular none have been very good. "The Simpsons" is uneven at best and the rest belong back in someone's imagination. I have seen better work online countless times.

    C'mon guys...

    by bizarrojerry

I think you've taken the animated sitcom as far as it will go. The Cleveland show is mediocre at best. That show about kids in school tanked. ABC gave us a new show from Mike Judge that didn't do well. It may be over, folks.
