Is still only 1.6, which is still extremely low. But it's still good enough for NBC to make its money, which is all they care about these days.

I wholeheartedly agree, people should support Modern Family. But aren't they already? Just look at this talkback, so far every comment has been extremely positive (agreeing with both of us that the show is worth watching). The ratings are also extremely strong, look at it beat most of the other established shows on TV week in and week out. This week is slipped, but, as somebody else mentioned, it's Thanksgiving Eve. I'm one of those people who watches it every week, but even I didn't catch it until today. If the numbers stay like that, then so be it, but I don't see how this show could get any more support than it's already getting.

Glad I'm not the only one thought it had an AD vibe. Great cast, great writing, and as mentioned great chemistry. No doubt it will get cancelled then ! Cougar is bit of a strange one, don't know how its been marketed so badly, I avoided it like the plague as a woman's comedy when in fact its quite broad brush and bloody funny a lot of the time.

Courtney Cox is still smoking hot and the show is actually pretty funny. And Ed O'Neill just rules. He was the best thing about "John from Cincinatti" and rules Modern Family, too.

Are you sure about that, V'Shael? The one I saw (with the boys birthday party told as flashbacks) was new to me, and I've been paying attention. Perhaps there was a repeat at 8 or something, but I definitely saw a new episode this week. Sorry you missed it (it was fantastic).

    CougarTown SUCKS

    by masterbatse

It's one of the most boring shows ever, I never laughed once while watching it, funniest thing on the show is the fish lip neighbour, she used to be hot but with all the surgery she looks like a bass. And Courtney Cox's son on the show....NOT FUNNY, he thinks he is though.

Yep, Cox's son sucks. But Cox is hot dude!

    by _palmer_eldritch

You must be blind not to be affected by her hotness. There's a MILF if there ever was one. And come on, for a show that's primarily aimed at Chicks it's pretty damn funny.

    by theblight

Seriously though, Cougar Town ain't all that bad. Sort of FEELS LIKE it is within the SCRUBS universe. Gee, wonder why... Anyways, I don't think it should get the 9 SEASONS, zombie-won't-die-SCRUBS did, but at least a season or two would be nice-amusing if NOTHIN ELSE is on... but, NOT... GLEE... Singing, sh!t-hea teens, NO THANKS...

The day before thanksgiving, the biggest travel day of the year, is guaranteed to drop ratings across the board. Had it not been an important sweeps day, all the networks would have thrown up reruns.

    DT vs, Enter Key

    by d_t

    Enter Key Wins...

Anyway, Modern Family was excellent again. They ran a repeat at 8 and a new one at 9 though we hadn't seen either.

Terrific writing, great cast dynamics - Shelly Long was a pretty outstanding choice for the biological Mom. With the large cast (that the writers are managing really well), they get to cover alot of ground and not over use any single character - we were just talking about he "smart" daughter and how she has just the perfect amount of screen time.

The clown bits were amazing (including Ty's insane fear and the ass-kicking bit a the gas station).

You know what Cougar Town needs?

    by jobacca

More raunchy sex antics. I tuned into the pilot because I heard it was a filthy, filthy show that featured Courtney Cox inher underwear...its turned out to be a fairly tame run-of-the-mill sitcom. If they had the balls to REALLY make something offensive and funny, they'd carve out a niche for themselves and make a ton of money in the process...unfortunately America is still ruled by the puritanical impulses of religious fanatics who live in mortal fear of "teh sex"

    by spectrebeeyatch

Community is much better. The writing on MF is very good but the cast is horrible. I look forward to the reboot. Also Cougar Town is just horrible it's ratings are decent because women in their forties and fifties watch and wish they were fucking twenty something year old guys. Also I will add that I think these ratings updates should be dropped. Didn't the BO TB's become just horribly nasty people picking sides with movies like they are sports teams? Here it just seems to prove idiots are monitored for the ratings look at the shows at the top. They need to update their system big time.

All numbers are slightly off because most people are knocking back alcohol to ease the pain of spending time with insufferable family members. The real star of the night was Paget Brewster's nicely toned backside and her ample busom.

Both are great shows. Both make me laugh. A lot. And both have very hot women with whom I want to do nasty things. Sofia Vergara especialmente! But the Non-pregnancy story on Glee? Gotta end it, quick-like. I mean how fucking stupid is Shue for not knowing that his bitchey-wife isn't pregnant? Just utterly fucking stupid! And no one is dumb enough to believe that they can get a girl pregnant by ejaculating in a hot tub, right? (Right?) Everything else is awesome, though!
