Figures in grey represent repeats.

* The nerds of “Big Bang Theory” beat for the second time in two weeks ESPN’s “Monday Night Football” to emerge again as th night's number-one.

* The “Jon & Kate” series finale hit a season high, garnering bigger numbers in 18-49 than NBC’s “Trauma” and “Leno.”

* “Castle” and “HIMYM” also hit season highs.

* While the "Leno" numbers are flattening, the show remains mired in its customary fifth place at 10 p.m. Monday behind ESPN's "Football," CBS' "CSI Miami," ABC's "Castle," and USA's "Raw."

* “House” lost some ground to ABC’s big “Dancing With The Stars” Monday-edition finale.

Well apparently you flunked Logic 101 because you fail to understand why MNF dropped so much in their ratings the past two weeks. Its not because of the cable network, its because those weeks featured incredibly horrible matchups in BAL/CLE and TEN/HOU.

MNF has gone down dramatically since the 4 letter network took over. Yes, the cle/bal matchup was just painful to watch, but the Hou/Tenn game was ok. Seems just about every game that has aired on Sunday Night Football on NBC has been great. The worst part about ESPN is that they don't care that big bang theory is ahead in the ratings because MNF is just a tool for them to get subscribers.

She's still in the credits isn't she, she will most likly be returning in a few weeks. And house is better then ever, the team is practically perfect as is and having Kirk's mom back would only make it better, and if she is gone for good then it's not the worst cast change the show has had to deal with...remember when Kumar shot himself with no lead up at all, i know Kal penn just kinda left acting for a bit to work for obama, but the show could have comeup with a better ending then having the character off himself

It always depends on the matchups and storylines and always has (since the advent of more than 3 networks). The Vikings-Packers game this year was the highest rated show in the history of cable television, and I wouldn't be surprised if this week's Pats-Saints game beats it.I can't believe that I am currently a Patriots fan until next week. Or was it the week before that's nobody? Now the episode before that had Wil Wheaton as this week's had Katee Sachoff, but let's look at those highly marketable guest stars from the first 4 weeks of the season before the Wil Wheaton episode... Hmm, there was nobody, nobody, nobody, and nobody. So, two out of 9 episodes have had guest stars. I can totally see your point.

    by deandome

All the staff turmoil is pretty annoying...but I guess that serves as a distraction to hide how UTTERLY FUCKING PREDICTABLE the show is/has been. Allow me to write a script: Man/woman collapses & is rushed to hospital...House snarls at team as they discuss symptoms and run first batch of tests....they agree on prognosis #1 they try a drug/therapy...patient seems better, but then develops scary new symptom...more bickering, one staff member suggests prognosis #2 & begins treatment, though others disagree...others go to patients residence for insane/illegal search for obscure clues...patient doesn't respond to treatment #2 and develops new, even SCARIER symptom..."IT'S LUPIS!!"...Lupis treatment almost kills patient...patient is told they're gonna die...House get epiphany from looking at a waffle or something...epiphany-based treatment cures patient...House hurls cute innuendo at Cuddy. Finis...WHERE'S MY EMMY?

Amen to that last sentence. I liked the little game House was playing with Cuddy, but it was only fun for one, maybe two episodes. House's little crush on Cuddy seems to be this year's story arch, though. Wake me when it's over, please. I'm hoping they surprise us and bring the Chase thing back. That seemed to be going places. But right now, it's getting pretty boring.

Big Bang has handled Sheldon & Penny's pairing very well...Barney & Robin on HIMYM...I Dream of Jeannie was still good after she married Major Nelson (WOW...where did THAT come from?). It only sucks if they a)draw it out FOREVER (I'm kinda worried about Shaun & Jules on 'Psych'...their 'will they/won't they' is getting tedious) and/or b) the writers go overboard & treat the pairing like it's a huge deal..skewing whole episodes around the pairing instead of just working it into the stream of things. Again, Big Bang is one of the best examples I've seen of how getting the leads together does NOT have to ruin a show.

I'm still putting a review of a test screening of When in Rome (saw it at UPenn's Zellerbach Theater on the 18th) and goddamn, Assassins Creed 2 is like crack. It's a great, addictive videogame. Couldn't stop playing it all week.

Heroes has settled into a place where they'll never again get more than 5.5-6m viewers, hovering around a 2.3 or so in the 18-49 demo. House is starting to piss off viewers (that started, I think with Jennifer Morrison getting ushered off the show for reasons surpassing understanding. Next week's Heroes is the last of the decade (show goes dark for all of December) and will end its season on 2/2, barring any late episode order increase from 19 to 22 or whatever.

I made an odd observation. I found that he sounded like Wolowitz from Big Bang Theory. They have a very similar way of delivering their lines.Of all of House's employees, I've liked Chase the least. A bit disappointed, if someone was to go, it wasn't him. However, I did like what they did with his character this week. Using House to get everyone else off his back. Plus, the episode had House playing games with Cuddy, as usual, but her doing it back to him.

    by ryanbraun14

first, they set up cuddey's relationship with lucas a LONG time ago. it was brief and very easily forgettable, or very easy to assume that cuddey wasn't interested. When you think about how long ago lucas asked cuddey out, then it makes perfect sense that he is close to the baby... he probably wasn't at first, but enough time has passed to where its very believable. And in addition to that, he's always shown taking care of the baby because cuddey has a job that takes up ALOT of time whereas lucas's job is flexible enough (time wise) to make him the extremely logical choice for taking care of cuddey's baby.

John+Kate made 65K an episode on TLC. They were huge reality-tv stars. John hijacked that show and put it off the air with his stupidity. Now where are they going to get money like that? They have 8 fucking kids! they'll have to actually work again and both will be forgotten and John won't get to bang hot 19 year-olds anymore.

BigTuna, no argument that the guy's a doofus

However, I have no delusions about the the lengths, and depths, a pseudo-celebrity like him will go to remain in the spotlight and cashing that easy paycheque. Or the rock-bottom of the barrel scraping E does when coming up with new "celebrity" "reality" shows. Wasn't there some talk of a Divorced Reality Dads show with him & Lindsey Lohan's father? And can you really call a 19 year-old, who looks like she's 30, hot?
