Figures in grey represent repeats.

* The “Seinfeld”-enhanced “Curb Your Enthusiasm” season finale doubled its 18-49 score from two weeks earlier and was the most-watched “Curb” finale in five years.

* “The American Music Awards” scored its biggest rating in five years, pulling a substancially bigger audience than the three ABC hourlongs it replaced. People love award shows!

* “The Amazing Race” hit a season high, dominating as usual CBS’ Sunday-night lineup.

* “Family Guy” hit a season low, garnering less audience even than its October repeat. “The Simpsons” kind of fell off a cliff to hit a season low as well.

* “Three Rivers” and “Cold Case” flipped timeslots to little apparent effect.

I guess my fears were wrong about the Curb finale

    by coughlins laws

It wasn't even the most watched Curb ever? That's crazy. I guess it needed The Sopranos lead-in afterall...

    This weeks Dexter

    by nalapou

was indeed the most shocking, and most intense episode... of possibly the entire series. And the Curb finale was hilarious and awesome.

I figured who shot Lundy awhile ago, but I wasn't expecting that twist at the end of the episode. Spot on episode, spot on season

    Dexter was fucking amazing.

    by v'shael

"I should have killed you when I had the fucking chance!" Just brilliant.

And the horny little daughter... kinky. With a willing mother to boot. "I don't care what you've done to her, or are doing to her, or are going to do to her."

    Curb was a brilliant finale.

    by v'shael

I think that show is done now. It was a great way to end the series, with George and Larry getting their lady back, but knowing it won't be smooth sailing.

I actually loved Dexter Sunday up until the end (Spoilery)

    by rob0729

I figured out Christine killed Lundy and shot Deb long before the moment Deb figured it out. I just think Trinity (based on the previews, an inaccurate nickname) being Christine's father could be really hokey. Too convient. Too much of a coincidence.
Trinity has been killing for over 30 years. Why would Christine all of the sudden now be so interested in the police activities especially when she did start to sleep with Quinn, Lundy wasn't even back in the picture and no one knew Trinity even existed.
Other than that, the episode was great. Looking inside Trinity's family and seeing Dexter being shattered to find out that his "idol" really didn't have the perfect family life and was even more of a monster to his family than he was to his victims was great. I didn't really buy the romance between Rita and Elliot, but it could add a new dimension to Dexter's life and his struggle to maintain the appearance of normalcy in the effort to hide his Dark Passenger.

V will be back, but for how long

    by rob0729

I think they will give V a shot in March, but they may only burn through their original 13 episode order. There might be a lot of budget cutbacks.
Personally, I think it is an ok show and it seems to have gotten better in recent episodes, but I won't cry if it gets canceled either.

    Is Californication in danger?

    by _palmer_eldritch

That would be a shame! After a shitty first season (mainly due to Madeline "Horseface" Zima), Season 2 was pretty excellent (A modern take on "The Great Gatsby") and I'm enjoying Season 3 so far, too. How to the ratings compare to earlier seaons? Anyone?

    by lane_myers111

in tv right now by a long long way. There is no show i look forward to more. Its very funny and Hank Moody is a legend. Have always loved Duchovny in anything he's done. Just read on wiki that ratings for third season have been good and its already been picked up for a forth YIPPEE!!!!
