NEW YORK, NY – November 17, 2009 – A&E Network will present a one-time only advance online screening of the premiere episode of Steven Seagal Lawman, the new Real-Life series that will chronicle martial arts expert and international film star Steven Seagal’s extraordinary life in law enforcement. Streaming on Wednesday, November 18 at 8pm et, two weeks prior to its premiere on the linear network, the episode will be available at AETV.com alongside new digital extensions of the series including an online game, short-form videos and more.

The sneak peek will be viewable on AETV.com’s widescreen player on the Steven Seagal Lawman site (http://www.aetv.com/seagal). The episode will run twice in a row, so viewers tuning-in late will be able to catch the show in its entirety in the second airing. After the advance screening, viewers will not be able to watch the episode again until the program’s television premiere: Wednesday, December 2 on A&E.

The advance screening will also be available November 18 via participating cable affiliates’ broadband platforms, including Cox Communications, which will embed A&E’s video player on Cox.net. Additionally, the episode will be streamed via TV.com and Sony’s PlayStation® HOME.

In addition to the advance screening, the following digital features will be rolled out on the show site leading up to and immediately following the December 2 premiere:

o Steven Seagal Lawman Comic Creator – A&E has partnered with NYC creative firm Circ.us to develop this user-generated comic which, leveraging Oddcast technology, allows fans to portray themselves and their friends on a crime fighting adventure with Seagal, and then share the comic on Facebook.

o Steven Seagal Lawman Firearms Qualification Game, online-only short-form videos, a photo gallery, “Meet the Officers” feature and more.

Until now, Seagal has never sought attention for his work with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office. However, over a span of almost two decades, he has regularly gone out on patrol and worked major cases. Each thirty-minute episode of Steven Seagal Lawman will allow fans to ride shotgun with Seagal as he and his hand-selected elite team of deputies respond to crimes-in-progress. Then, when Seagal goes off-duty, the cameras will continue following him as he pursues his many ventures – including musical performances and philanthropic efforts – in Jefferson Parish and New Orleans.

Steven Seagal Lawman is produced for A&E Network by ITV Studios (formerly Granada America) and Steamroller Productions. John X. Kim is the Executive Producer, Lucas Platt is the Co- Executive Producer, and Anna Geddes is the Series Producer for ITV Studios. Steven Seagal and Phillip B. Goldfine are Executive Producers for Steamroller Productions. Joe Halpin and Binh Dang are Producers for Steamroller Productions. Executive Producers for A&E are Robert Sharenow and Neil A. Cohen.

Seagal and longtime NO resident Harry Connick Jr. Sadly, the song is "feels so good" by Chuck Mangioni so Harry must mouth-trumpet the whole thing. Must-see TV.

    What Jacket will he wear?

    by monkmayfair

The variety of nuanced characters that SS has created over the years are all anchored by the almost mystically correct choice of The Jacket for each role. We will be able to relish in this multi-layered approach to SS's assorted careers and also the rainbow of Jacket choices that the different jobs will bring! Long live Seagal! Long live Seagal's Jackets!

    Emmy winner for sure

    by liljuniorbrown

They should team him up with Corey Haim from the other A&E show. That would be must see tv for sure. Segal definitely belives his own shit though. He filmed a movie in my home town in his prime and left a lasting impression on a lot of people.

when A&E and TLC had interesting, quality and challenging programming?

What happened to shows like James Burke's Connections2... or good syndication like Lou Grant? Now it's all that reno house crap.

    a shame.
