Merrick here...
Early last month, Brett Ratner did an interview with MTV regarding BEVERLY HILLS COP 4.
A particular quote in the interview lead many to the logical conclusion that the new BHC project would have a considerably softer tone/rating than its predecessors.
When asked what is biggest challenge would be, Ratner seemed to indicate that his new film would be geared towards a very PG audience.

Greetings! ScoreKeeper here feeling a bit embarrassed and shameful. My coverage of James Horner's upcoming score to AVATAR (2009) has been woefully poor to put it bluntly. It's as if I've almost forgotten that AVATAR is coming out in a couple weeks. Well, I aim to remedy my negligence by pointing you over to Dan Schweiger's uber-cool, one-on-one radio interview with the unusually private James Horner where they talk candidly about all things AVATAR!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with my chat with Mr. Viggo Mortensen about THE ROAD. I conducted this interview at the Telluride Film Festival shortly after the chat I did with director John Hillcoat which itself was just after watching the movie.

Hey everyone. Capone here, with the list of winners for tickets to see the Chicago premiere of YOUTH IN REVOLT on Wednesday, December 2 at 8:00 pm, with a post-screening Q&A with co-stars Michael Cera and Portia Doubleday.
Those who entered and won will receive an email from me shortly with the details on the location of the screening. If you entered this contest and your name is on the list, but you did not receive an email, let me know and I'll get you the details.

Facebook's official THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA: THE VOYAGE OFTHE DAWN TREADER page has a set of images from the new movie. As far as I know, these may represent the first "official" pics that we've seen.

Doing a Best of the Year list is one thing. I actually find it relatively easy, as I keep a year-long file on my computer with all the contenders for best and worst, so really, it's mostly a matter of culling them into a list that, within a month, I'm going to wish I could change. But the best films of the decade? Yikes. I'm not ready for that.

What's this? A new category? Yes and no. I came across something I thought would be very interesting, but doesn't exactly fit into any other category. Consider this a one-off.
EXPENSIVE ($71.00-$499.99)

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here, all jolly and full of holiday cheer. It's that time of year again. The Holiday Shopping Guide is here. I can safely say this one article (broken into three parts) is the single most time consuming article I write every year. It's like month's worth of A Movie A Day's rolled up into one marathon 75 hour work week.

Hey Folks, Harry here - Now I know that over a million folks have seen this bit of genius since Monday, but if there's even one of you that haven't had this placed in front of your eyes... well... I just can't risk it. Sublime joy must be passed along - I didn't know that there was a MUPPETS STUDIO page on YouTube with HD newly created Muppet antics. That's spectacular. Enjoy... and rock to: The Muppets doing BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY!!!

There's a new trailer online for THE EAGLE PATH, a film written, directed, and starring Jean-Claude Van Damme. I'm so glad to see JEan-Claude working his way back into the spotlight; his appearance in JCVD demonstrates the man truly has chops - in no uncertain terms. This new project was announced under the title FULL LOVE a while back.
Here's THE EAGLE PATH (aka FULL LOVE)'s extended trailer:
