That kid looks like my youngest son. He brings home every animal under the sun, and wants to keep it for a pet. The last time he brought an Eastern Box Turtle home and let it go in the house. The cat followed it around and around the house until it got bored and finally shit on it!...yep he'd definitely bring home a dragon.

Like the story seems ok. But is it going to be Dreamworks thing now to go to the Apatow well? 10 bucks says Fat Hill plays a sid kick panda in Kung Fu Panda 2 or something. The animation just looks week. People knocked Battle For Terra but that movie was pretty fucking awesome.

Yeah, it's a weird thing. And when Wiig does some of her freakier characters, she can look pretty repulsive. But I've seen photos of her at rest, and she can look fairly hot. To me, anyway. Whatever. Funny chicks really do it for me. Sarah Silverman shall have my babies.

I'm guessing we'll see the grown up version of the dragon by the end of the movie and that it won't look like a salamander or a pokemon or whatever these naysayers are saying.

    by dingbatty

no problem with the dragon. It's shape resembles some figureheads on longships and stylized Viking "gripping beasts" (which look nothing like later Heraldic dragons). The one in the clip is sort of an amalgam of feline, reptile, and amphibian, much like Smaug in the Rankin-Bass version was a cross between a dragon and a cat.The one Viking sounds like his is voiced by Craig Ferguson?

Seems Pixar has gone the heavy route on their last two films. Even though they are good (WALL-E and up) I enjoyed Monsters vs. Aliens better than both of the last two Pixar films. So I'm in.

I love it when a studio grabs a title, keeps the name of a few characters, and throws the entire plot out the window to make up something new (and worse). Love it.

    Don't be obtuse, AnUsulDarkley

    by drath

Nasty means anything worth calling a dragon should be what he says. Not saying I agree with him, Vermathrax Pajorative was just fine and didn't talk, but I agree that movies very rarely present cool talking intelligent dragons--and even when they do them right, the movie itself is often lame.---------This looks good, but I don't like the voice cast. And as always, I kind of want to see a battle between good and evil dragon riders when I see this kind of subject come up. Hope it's better than Eragon though.
