* “SVU” is still fourth in its timeslot but hit a season high of 2.8 in 18-49, making it look like more of a contender as ABC timeslot competition “Modern Family” and “Cougar Town” continue to dip.
* “SVU” was the only big-four show to post an 18-49 gain Wednesday night.
* Even though lead-in “SVU” keeps climbing, “Leno” hit its all-time Wednesday low.
* “Leno” tied with “Hank” with the lowest 18-49 score on the big-four networks (though “Hank” drew more overall viewers overall).

Had hot new-wave styled girls in it, though. Maybe because I'm a child of the 80s, that look appeals to me, even though I know I should find it disgusting.

seasons 3-6 of that 70s show is some great funny tv...but they never exactly nailed the feel of the 70s, which was fine, as it just a backdrop for the show after the first season (season 1 tried way to hard to cram 70s storylines in). that 80s show tried to nail the 80s perfectly, but apparently forgot to be funny. at all. in anyway shape or form. jesus christ that show was painful. like secret girlfriend. anyway who cares. mila kunis is hot.

People finally discovering, and remembering, what night and what time it's now on. NBC's schedule is so fucked compared to last year it took people this long to get it straight in their heads and actually "make appointments" again...I predict it will climb again next week...you heard it here first! :)

Yeah i kind of got that they pretty much forgot it was the 70s after the early seasons but continued to wear bellbottoms/shaggy hair but living in the current age.

Seriously anybody at NBC start thinking that Leno ISN'T the whole problem its the rest of their slate? there isn't a single NBC show I watch at the moment-waiting till Chuck returns-sure Leno's ratings are Low but you put out a good product people will find it-local news rating are down-doesn't everyone tune in to the Daily show these days? so is Conan-big surprise- and Fallon-again big surprise.....Maybe it is simple that they don't have the TALENT to hold the audience-certainly compared to the competition. I'd rather be watching CBS-never found Conan Funny at all and Ferguson is Quiet simply THE BEST in late night........

Its surprising that Ghost Hunters don't stick around for that show. Josh Gates brings a lot of energy to the show, but my problem is stick around for one day and thats it of investigating. They need to stop using the Ghost Hunters' formula of two investigations a night and just bust out one an episode. Ghost Hunters is getting good ratings due to the halloween season or something, because the show is so formulatic at this point. They need to go back to the roots of investigating families not historical buildings that pay for endorsements and fleshing out the rest of the cast. Shit, I have no idea why some of these people are here and why I should care.

What was with that bit at the end, with Tracy yelling "that's disgusting, shut it down"? Some kind of censor stipulation that they had to show they weren't really going to make it (or at least finish and sell it)?

The real question is the show profitable. <P> It costs a fraction to produce an hour of Leno vs a 1 hour scripted drama that has a high probability of failure anyway. <P> If NBC produces an Hour of Leno for $500,000 and makes 2 million in ad revenue for a 1.5 millon profit vs spending 2 million for a scripted drama and making 2.5 million in add revenue for a $500,000.00 profit. Leno is still the better business decision. <P> The only danger to Leno is a local affiliate revolt. The weak Leno lead in is hurting their 11 o'clock news. A major cash cow for affiliates. Baring the affiliates either refusing to air Leno or some other form of protest I think he is here to stay.
