No Tyra, no Lyla. Nobody from the original cast still attends high school except Julie Taylor and Landry Clarke. Grads Tim Riggins and Matt Saracen will still be lurking about.

Though the show shoots in Austin, where AICN is headquartered, the cast and Riggins' truck was shipped to a few blocks east of my apartment so the promo could be shot at Los Angeles' Universal City.

The trailer reminds us Oct. 28 is the date of the return of “Friday Night Lights” to DirecTV’s channel 101. Season four hits NBC next year.
