Hercules Says Tune In For The SEINFELD Reunion Tonight On ENTHUSIASM!! & ENTOURAGE Concludes Another Season!!
SPOILER ALERT !!
I am – Hercules!!
A big night for HBO:
* Larry David finally reunites tonight with his “Seinfeld” cast on “Curb Your Enthusiasm.” I find particularly funny how Larry’s perception of the “Seinfeld” finale differs from everyone else’s.
* Tonight’s “Bored To Death” is in my view the best yet, perhaps because there’s no sleuthing to be done this week and there’s a lot more screen time for the great Zack Galifianakis.
* What I haven’t seen is the last “Entourage” of the decade, which also airs tonight. Says HBO:
“Give a Little Bit”: Eric plans a special lunch for Sloan that doesn’t go as smoothly as he hoped. Ari tries to convince his wife that buying Terrance’s company is not a personal vendetta. Meanwhile, after repeated attempts to get over Jamie-Lynn, Turtle decides to make a grand gesture to be with her; Drama, resolving to give up acting for good, turns down a chance to re-audition for “Melrose 2009”; and Matt Damon, with help from Lebron James, strongarms Vince to get involved in his charity. (Written by Doug Ellin & Ally Musika; directed by Mark Mylod.)
“Curb Your Enthusiasm”: 9 p.m. Sunday. HBO.
“Bored To Death”: 9:30 p.m. HBO.
“Entourage”: 10:30 p.m. Sunday. HBO.

cant wait for entourage, but why does season seem so short?
-
curb is the shit!
-
There'a a million jokes out there, but I kinda like that one.
-
I don't why I'm still watching the show. It's horrible, and yet I always watch it religiously.
Curb has been great so far. -
think it might be Jeremy Piven, it is some of the laziest TV on air, but I always watch it.

Curb is pretty pretty good ..... actually its brilliant
by miyamoto_musashi
Its Seinfeld for adults
-
Can't freakin wait.
-
So unless Entourage isn't coming back in 2010 you won't be seeing it tonight either.
-
just check out the youtube clip of him on the late late toy show. look how pissed off he looks after the ex-host kenny miss-spells his name.
-
Rennee Zellwegger. they were both promoting Bee movie. That was how seinfeld came to be in ireland. and ended up on the toy show. 3 years ago. Kenny announced his departure as host with great aplomb. new show the frontline is getting great reviews. Kenny roots are in current affairs.
-
but, yeah, i still watch it, anyway. it's just so ... leisurely, i guess is the right word. and the highlight of last week's "curb your enthusiasm" was when larry asked leon what he was going to do now that the rest of the black family had left: "i'm going upstairs to eat this fucking chinese food ... in my room."
-
the new film by richard curtis. called the boat that rocked in the uk. in the us its called pirate radio. the boat that rocked more liked the film that tanked. curtis was a child of the 1960's and he was a fan of pirate radio especially radio luxembourg. the brits banned pirate radio but a plan was hatched to hire a boat. thus avoiding the authorities detection. it didnt last and the authorities caught up with radio caroline. they got thier licence and radio caroline became bbc radio one. curtis chose not to tell that story for some reason. the movie tanked. great cast wasted.
-
is the laziest show on tv. It's been the same show and yet I still watch it too. I'm sure it's out of loyalty. But Curb has been fantastic, though I'm not to crazy about cancer jokes in general. And Bored was just terrible.
-
Ends this year assholes!
69, 79, 89, 99, 09 See a pattern?
-
peanut butter and jelly?
What are you gonna call it?
PB & J's. -
Me too... :)
-
Hence why 2010 is the last year of this decade and why 2001 is called 2001.
-
I wanted to like Hung because I am a T.J. fan, but it just didn't do it for me. I like Bored to Death, but don't love it. I'm willing to stick with it. It seems a lot of us are sticking around for Entourage, myself included. Subliminal messages or just the comfort of familiar, likable characters?
-
stop giving Entourage ratings. Let it die, already so it can make room for something decent.
-
...is hit and miss. But it goes by season, not episode. Seasons one and two, obviously, were absolutely the best, and nothing has topped them. Seasons 3 and 4 sucked, and season 5 shocked me by being REALLY good, on the verge of great. I have no comment on season 6 as I just started catching up through On Demand. I've heard bad things, though.
-
is better than most everything else on TV. This has been a great year for Entourage though.
-
Stupidest show on HBO. Ever.
-
but I really can't stop watching it. Lloyd is horrible though .. Rex Lee is the screetchiest bitch on TV.
-
It should have been a special 1 hour episode.
-
I wanna punch him in the face...it may be because he has one of the gayest haircuts ive ever seen....if that guy had gone to my high school lookin like that, he wouldve gotten a beatdown everyday....come to think of it, I got a beatdown everyday....
-
did the right thing. buying it. then shunting it in to the graveyard slot. they did that with 24. hopefully with lost season six they wont put it on the same day as sky one and at the same time. that finished me with lost. glad to see emerson won something finally.
-
Entourage was only interesting when Vinny (and hence everyone else) struggled. When Vinny is making movies and has no money problems the show is boring. I liked it when Vince and Eric were trying to decide on a project and would go against Ari's advice. And speaking of Ari, WTF happened to him this year? His storyline was the weakest ever. I love Ari but I don't give a shit about his wife and kids and the stupid office bullshit that went on this year. Eric is still a whiny bitch who needs a good slap. It's sad to say that DRAMA was the least annoying character this year. That's saying something. As for Curb - I love it.
-
I just dont find Curb funny.maybe its an acquired taste.
-
Yes, I still watch, mostly to see hot girls, plus the occasional fun cameo and / or rant from Ari. But it really just isn't very good. Talk about a show that is way, way, WAY past its freshness date...I really thought they would have the sense to end it after this year, but apparently as long as idiots like me watch...
-
is Sex and the City for guys without the whiny, self-important voice over and laughable pretensions of being anything but dumb fun. Don't take it seriously and just enjoy the ride. Besides, if you can't laugh at Johnny Drama then you obviously ARE Johnny Drama.
-
While I can see how you made the leap from Curb to talking about Jerry Seinfeld, the segueway to Jonathen Ross which then became a mini-bio on some guy called Kenny, which then somehow became a historical look at BBC Radio Radio One reads completely bizarre in this article.
It's the equivalent of being in a conversation about the war on middle east when suddenly someone jumps in and blurts out some random facts from an Encylopaedia Brittanica. -
I can see how some may not. The show has a very particular sense of humor that does it for some people and not for others.By the way, deciding that Jerry Seinfeld is not funny on the basis of one television interview is kinda dumb.
-
wow, the entourage synopsis pretty much gives away the whole show. compare to the mad men notes, a simple sentence or two - if they want to keep watching the show interesting, just give us the setup - "Eric plans a special lunch for Sloan" - period! when they tell us "...that doesn’t go as smoothly as he hoped" - that's the payoff - why do i need to watch the show now? only the last few minutes will be interesting - HBO FAIL.
-
Lazy? What the fuck is wrong with your retarded fucking brains?!!
-
...because the writing has gotten progressively worse over the years. It's not nearly as funny as it used to be, which isn't that big a deal when the plots are really interesting and the characters are well-written. But seasons 3 and 4 were missing everything- humor, decent plot lines and interesting characterization. I don't know if I would call it lazy, but it was certainly bad, and not even remotely up to par with the first couple of seasons.
-
It shall be glorious! And yes, Entourage is unwatchable.
-
of the season.
-
The writers are fucking it up. Started with last seasons final episode when Vince and Eric made up way to easily and conveniently. This season is about the other guys. All we really see of Vince is him fucking random chicks and giving out bits of advice. They are focusing a lot on Eric's love life and it's really fucking boring. Props to Turtle(and Jerry Ferrara) for banging Jamie-Lynne, but that's really not something to build a season on either.Need more evidence of the writers ruining this show? That whole Seth Rogan thing in the first episode apparently stems from some feud with Doug Ellin and HBO. That whole "Why would anyone sleep with Seth Rogen?" was completely unnecessary and jarring. I can't remember any laugh out loud moments from this season, unlike previous seasons.Entourage should take a page from Curb about how to stay within the concept and deliver consistanly. It's one of the funniest shows on TV, if not the funniest, and last season's final episode was awesome and hilarious. Jeff's wife getting told off by Larry's new love had me rolling. I'm really liking the season so far.
-
how everyone shares the exact same opinions of entourage yet still watches it (myself included). While the hasn't been funny since last season, I still feel compelled to turn in every week without fail. I think it's just because I like the characters.

While Entourage and Always Sunny just flat out suck now...
by biffs_pleasure_paradise
Curb continues to be as funny as ever.
-
that's gonna be crazy. Fuck Entourage.
-
all the time. I tuned out after like the 3rd ep of the season.
-
he said its the last episode of this decade. the decade we currently are in runs from 2000-2009. hence the statement. you know how there's the 90s, the 80s and so on? well right now is the 00s. its not rocket science, although rocket science is pretty easy too.
-
Seriously, is there anything appealing about these guys? I'm pretty sure this show is for chicks and douche bags that consider themselves a part of "the scene".
-
It's the same shit over and over and over again.
-
That seems reasonable.
-
...centuries and millenia, but a decade still ends in the "9" year. 1980-1989 is the decade known as the eighties. The "year zero" explanation is unrelated.
-
2000-2009 is ten years. Go ahead. Count it out with your fingers, starting with 2000. That is the decade. 1990-1999 was the 90s. 2000-2009 is the 0's (or whatever) It is the last Entourage of this decade.
-
for Leon to meet Michael Richards.
-
Seriously.
-
I need more.
-
I only wish it was longer!
-
Fuck.
-
Hell, this group you would think panders to this crowd. It's weird, but like the other person said it's like Sex and the City for men. All us movie fans like to fantasies that -that could be our lives. That's why people watch it.
-

Matt Damon stole the every scene of Entourage there will ever be
by pollaxt
with his work tonight.
-
Couldn't agree more. I've never laughed so hard watching Entourage than every one of Matt Damon's scenes.
-
They are fucking retarded. You people complain that it's the same shit over and over again and that the characters don't grow, and yet you shit on thise season for having the character's grow and doing something different? Fucking morons.
-
What an astounding episode. This deserves to win an Emmy for pure nostalgia alone. This is going to be a beautiful season. Everyone's interactions were perfect. And I love how Larry is just pitching Curb plots for Seinfeld, and ho he has a George story, but no Jerry plot.
-
how surprising was jerry himself? after being not so great in 30 rock and making stuff like the bee movie i was a bit scared of how bad he could potentially be. but lo and behold, he was totally hilarious. i shouldn't have doubted...
-
here's a video that inspired the producers.
I'm glad they were able to really pull the season together with an epic finish:
-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxGMU1slnwo
we can all rest easy because this video was made and launched into outer space -
Curb is awesome!i agree it's not long enough and there aren't enough episodes each season and it takes too long for the next season.
Hopefully all the media attention about the reunion will create such interest everyone harasses them to bring back new Seinfeld. -
I really don't get the "It sucks, but I still watch it" comments. Why do you feel like you need an excuse to watch a TV show? If you like it, you like it. It's as simple as that. F*ck what other people think. Don't be a f*ckin' sheep.
-
poor Kramer...he looks sad...don't think he'll ever be the same again after his racist outburst...nobody is ever going to hire him again either...Larry David felt sorry for him and gave him one final moment in the sun
-
I think they're going to do something very fucked up there. Like the way he didn't hear about the reunion over lunch, and seemed constantly distracted or whatever. My guess is he'll either be on drugs, or have a mental illness. Then connect that back to his outburst, for shits and giggles.
-
A scene involving the two of them is absolutely inevitable. And inevitably hilarious and awkward.
-
Last night's episode was great, the best on Curb since Season 4...and it looks like even better stuff is yet to come.
-
"I don't know why he was on the ship"...hilarious! It's great to see Curb making a return to form after the increasingly crappy Seasons 5 and 6.
-
I'm not a die-hard Curb fan, and am only watching this season out of morbid curiosity about the "reunion" ... but that Walken throwaway line was just hilarious.
And V'Shael, I think it was pretty obvious that the reason Richards was distracted over lunch was because he was in a diner decorated with nothing but pictures of tits.
FYI - Julia Louis Dreyfuss was looking pretty damn hot for an old broad. -
this episode was awful. The last two episodes were much better and much funnier aswell. Bored to Death was better this week.
-
I think the creators have finally heard the criticism about the show. This season has had practically ZERO Vince, and the stories instead have focused on all the other characters. Hell, the only time Vince is even shown this season is either when he's banging some random chick, or to basically talk about how everything always works out for them and will be alright. That HAS to be self-referential and I think it's pretty funny. Take out the scenes this season that are like that, and Vince wouldn't even BE in this season.
-
...the tits and ass art in his face, not drugs...I mean what that hell?! How can someone not pick up on that?!
What's with all the hate for the Seinfeld finale? The ending was damn near perfect. The 4 of them are assholes, they finally get some justice and it still doesn't phase them! Absolutely perfect ending to the series. -
I have never seen Curb before last night. Decided to see how they were going to handle the reunion angle. The thing I noticed (other than it was funny) was how painfully obvious it was that they were ACTING. I know that the show is lots of improve around a basic plot, but it was distracting how bad the acting was.
-
on seinfeld.
you know its true. -
When was the last time these characters did anything new? Take last season for instance, when it appears E is going to finally leave Vince and do his own thing... only to do the same exact thing he did in season 1, goes right back to him after landing a huge gig. Same thing goes with every character in the show - we know Ari is going to scream at Lloyd nonstop, we know Turtle will continue to want to be his own guy but never move on, we know Drama will always be nothing more than a lame TV actor, and Vince will have a roller coaster career while sleeping with whoever he wants. I don't know why I continue watching it still - they have never done anything new at all since it first started.
-
My DVR kept recording it, & I kept watching. Then one day, I actually thought about the show and realized what a turd blossom it really is. Stopped watching about 3 eps. into this season, and my life is better for it.
-
Hey there fellow Hobo. Regarding the season finale of Seinfeld (which I also personally liked) I think it suffered mostly from NBC's typical ham-fisted presentation. To make it a two hour "event" they first showed an hour long clip show, which not only made anything after immediately not as funny because of all the utterly hilarious moments highlighted throughout the clips, but it also made the clip show-like finale seem redundant.
The other argument of course is that the four main characters almost always suffered each episode as a result of their own idiotic scheming and unadulterated selfishness, and that putting them on trial was unnecessary not only because they usually had already reaped what they had sewn, but also becasue they never would learn their lesson anyway. -

-
That is all.
-
Now, let it go.
-
I guess her acting it's the only part of her that sucks.
-
I dunno why... I constantly hear nothing but good things about it and I enjoyed Seinfeld back in the day and everyone keeps saying how this is so much better, but...
every time I put it on, I cannot get through an entire episode - I just find it almost painfully BORING...
can someone recommend a "best" episode that might actually move me to laughter and allow me to get into this show? ...or should I not bother because it's like a "clique" thing and if I don't immediately "get it" I never will...
? -
no one gives a shit about.
-
I think it really pushed the limits of the "show is all about Eric" theory, since all he did was piss and moan all season. The Ari plotlines were what drove it, but it's better when Ari is working for Vince for a project. He just seemed disconnected from the crew (how many scenes did he have interacting with them all season? Five? Max?). But the real thing is, usually seasons revolve around "Vince's next gig" or something which gives it a drive. I really liked last season when he was out of work and they had to scramble to get him a gig. This year? not so much. Fucking awesome Matt Damon cameo anyway.
-
I'm not quite sure how he could do that and not get charged with assault, but whatever. And for long time fans, the apology scene with Terrance paid off pretty good, considering they started their feud back in, like, Season 2.
-
...because even a truly bad episode with 30 minutes of blah blah boredom always has at least one thing in it - like Ari with the paintball gun - that makes up for the suck.
"There's no need to run, your fates are already sealed!" BAM! BAM!
Great stuff. -
All they do is sit around!! And people complain about Lost?
-
It can't be "all gay" if you see 100% boobs and 0% man-ass or gay action per episode. Also, Ari is funny.
-
You are a completely brain-dead fucking idiot. You're the village idiot of AICN, and that's saying quite a lot. Just fuck off...
-
Phew, I needed that.
Seriously though, I hate both the character AND the actor - he just comes across as a complete arsehole.
I'm sure I read somewhere that they're all tossers in real life, apart from Piven.
Can't remember where.
This season has been pretty lame - what the hell was Erics storyline all about?
They set it up like the agency job was a big deal - it went nowhere. The hot assistant - it went nowhere. Scott Caan - went nowhere.
All he was left with was a really shit actress with average cans being a mad stalker type, and then an out of nowhere engagement to the uber-hot Sloan.
He is punching waaaay above his weight class there. Totally unrealistic that a whiny little cock like him could land Sloan.
Incidentally, she really needs to drop the clothes! ;o)
I still watch though, for Ari & the cameos. Vince is pretty decent as well, now they've dropped the "constant hash head" crap from previous series'.
Turtle is a waste of space douchebag cunt though.
That will never, ever change.
