Which I did wayyy back in February! It's pretty awesome
-
Read some reviews...not sure if even getting a free screening is worth it...
-
and Ong-Bak and The Protector are great movies? No, but the action is top notch. The same can definitely be said for Ong-Bak 2
-
hkdvdstore.com had this in May. $15.00. Pretty good flick. Gay story line but hey, Ja is still the man. I hear that ONG BAK 3 will be a direct sequel to this one and still a prequel to the first movie. 3.5 out of 5

why doesn't AICN let us know when this stuff is available? It's not like it's a bootleg. I guess so they can do shit like this and get paid for promotion.
-
Very True. Although I heard the plot was weaker than part 1. But you're right-it's the action that is breathtaking and not so much the story. Too bad they didn't concentrate on both.
-
And it's sweet.
-
it is pretty awful. the fight scenes suck. i love martial arts movies but this was blah. he had great fight scenes in first one and protector but this feels like they had no time to prepare them. the next bruce lee hes not. feels like hes run out of moves to show
-
You know, the legendary Circuit Judge?

Plot is bloated faux-epic hokey spiritual weirdness. In one of the strangest grabs at repeat ticket sales I've ever seen, the "narrator" declares the hero dead, but then actually suggests that the audience can keep Tony Jaa alive for a sequel with the power of collective karma, or something. I laughed. Fight scenes are crazy, with a couple of moments causing bursts of applause. Whomever said the fights suck didn't stick around to see the bit at the end with the elephant. That shit was insane.
