Mr. Beaks Has The List For Thursday's ZOMBIELAND Screening In Los Angeles! Now Starting At 7:30!

Published at:  Oct 01, 2009 2:17:34 PM CDT

Hey guys. Just letting you know that tonight's screening will now be starting a half-hour later at 7:30 PM. Sorry for the late notice, but these things happen. Hopefully, this doesn't completely fuck up your day.

FYI: I will not be there this evening on account of being incredibly sick.

Beaks here...

As promised, here's the list of attendees for tomorrow night's screening of Ruben Fleischer's apparently awesome ZOMBIELAND at The Grove in Los Angeles. The film starts at 7 PM (and I've overbooked a little), so I would highly recommend arriving at the theater an hour early; if this event goes as smoothly as the DISTRICT 9 screening, I imagine we'll start getting everyone seated around 6 PM.

In the interest of complete transparency, here's my personal list:

Thanks to everyone who sent in emails. I wish we could accommodate all of you.

For the folks who RSVP'd for the other screenings around the country, New York and Chicago are full. The other cities are filling up, but if you fire off an email right now, you might still be able to get in. Someone from Sony will contact you if you're on the list for any of the non-L.A. screenings.

Enjoy!

    Posted the full RSVP list

    by quint

Go check the front page. Just got them a couple hours ago, right before the Avatar presentation and have been a super uber nerd sitting off in the corner at the 3-D dance party at Fantastic Fest rocking along to Vanilla Ice while compiling all the names and posting them. Go see if you made the cut!

The third one can be Vampireland

    by fa_tass_dinomolester

which they can tie-in to Twilight to get the crappy seven-year-old girl crowd.

    oh really

    by calista_griffin

thanks for not stuffing the list with your friends this time beaks. but i already saw zombieland, through a much more fair and cool entity, your bad management of the last screening turned me off to AICN contests, so why wait for the last minute when i can be treated so much better elsewhere?

really, don't pat yourself on the back too hard. to call the district 9 screening wildly successful is completely inaccurate. remember the howls for your blood that you conveniently ignored. no one is going to forget that.

We're 2-2 with Sony. Hopefully we can partner up with them on Roland Emmerich's TOTAL FUCKING DESTRUCTION.
