* CBS now owns Tuesday night with “The Good Wife” and its two JAGverse shows putting it at #1 in all timeslots.
* “Jay Leno” beat the second episode of “Forgotten,” suggesting the Christian Slater procedural will soon join “Justice,” “Just Legal,” “E-Ring,” “Modern Men,” “Skin,” “Close To Home” and “Soldier of Fortune Inc.” as one of the shorter-lived Jerry Bruckheimer TV productions. (With the cancellation of “Without A Trace” and “Eleventh Hour” and big ratings declines for “CSI,” “CSI: Miami” and “Cold Case,” Bruckheimer is having a tough year.)
* “Dancing With The Stars” fell a mammoth 26% from last week while its timeslot competition, “The Biggest Loser,” rose 16%. The ABC dance show is fast losing ground to the Fox dance show, and may lose more if the latter continues to indulge upskirt camerawork:

Very slowly, but inevitably. It's sad. The last fews year, IMO, were a huge boom in terms of quality and scope, but now I think it's going to fall apart pretty soon. After Lost is over, there will only be a handful of truly quality television series left. Mad Men, Breaking Bad, Fringe (usually), Dexter....what else?

than the shows with the dancing on them. I like Gordon Ramsey, but DWTS is most important. And something about old Christian Slater pisses me off. I don't know what it is. He didn't bother me before. At this point I'm like 100% ABC in primetime. It's like I don't want to change the channel in case LOST accidently comes back early (even though I hate most of last season).

That's your realistic choice, not Leno or some good scripted tv show. In the 90s, NBC put Dateline on like 4 times a week. Leno is great compared to that tabloid trash.

Most entertaining show on TV. ABC, please move it to a bettter timeslot. I love SHARK TANK but if not for DVR I'd only be watching it on Hulu.

I think with more and more people watching via Tivo, DVR, the internet, not only do viewers see fewer commercials selling products because they FFWD past them, but they also see fewer commercials for new upcoming TV shows. It becomes very difficult to build up hype for the new shows.

There is little I watch on any regular basis. I like Leno's new show. It's not as good as his 'Tonight Show', but it's worth tuning in to. 'The Forgotten' isn't bad, which means it'll tank and get canceled like last season's excellent 'Life on Mars'. In short, TV sucks.

of the letterman scandal. cbs's late night king pin admitted on air that he had sex with several female scretaries and was blackmailed into saying such. letterman said that had to go to a grand jury and testify. why no mention. if this was the 1990s and this had happened. the media would have gone mad. but here is the guy who runs late night at cbs. and is one thier biggest backers. not a peep.
