AICN is hosting ZOMBIELAND screenings this Thursday in Miami, Chicago, Minneapolis, NY, Philly, Seattle and San Francisco!

Published at:  Sep 29, 2009 5:16:53 PM CDT

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. Zombieland kicked my ass last week as it did most everybody who saw it at Fantastic Fest. I've heard a lot of people guiltily saying it's their favorite of the fest... The guilt is because at a film festival you're kinda supposed to like the indie flicks more.

The fine folks at Columbia Pictures wanted to make sure AICN readers get to see the flick early, so we're teaming up to put as many of you guys into theaters across the country this Thursday so you can get a jump on all your coworkers!

The cities where we have AICN Zombieland screenings are below as well as RSVP emails. You can RSVP for a plus one, but if you have more friends than that who want to go they'll have to send in their own email. Make sure to include your name in the RSVP email.

I'll post a list of those who made the cut off. There are limited seats at these theaters so act fast!

Chicago:
10/1 8pm
AMC Loews 600 North Michigan Ave.

Minneapolis:

Also, for you LA AICNers don't worry. We didn't leave you out. Beaks has something cooking for you! Just keep your eye on the site!

I know its obnoxious, but I had to. This is my FIRST first posting!! Hopefully I'll be as lucky getting into the screening. If its as good as the D9, I'm psyched!

Quint, you named the SF RSVP link "Seattle". Goes to the correct email, but the link name is wrong. FYI...

Thanks for the catch. Fixed! Now don't bite my mom! Unless, of course, that means I get to make out with a hot gypsy lady...

The studios do care about AICN readers enough to give them free screenings. This movie wants (and looks like it deserves) strong word-of-mouth. This is part of their strategy.

    Thanks for the fix Quint!

Hmmm... Make out with the Gypsy lady, but your mom eats her dog? Probably not an even trade off!

If this is like the D9 screening

    by harosa

If this is like the D9 screening that AICN did then you're guaranteed a seat if u make the list, your choice of seats depends on how early u get in line, this is not like those fucked Paranormal screenings that made me swear off screenings that hobos off the street can get into.

Paramount ran the PARANORMAL screenings, not AICN

    by yackbacker

For this movie, looks like AICN is organizing shit in conjunction with Columbia. That's a good thing.

I love how the LA folks are so whiny.

    by 433

#1: LA and NYC get more screenings than everyone else.
#2: The person running AICN screenings for Harry can give out tickets however they like.
#3: It's not like money was stolen from you. You had to pay for a movie you were going to pay for anyway. I've been turned away from screenings before, but it wasn't a Paranormal Activity thing.
    #4: That's it, I don't have a #4.
