Discover Marko Zaror, The Latin Dragon accepting his Best Actor, Fantastic Fest 2009... MANDRILL! Your Ass Kicked... Click!
Hey folks, Harry here with a glimpse at a star that is getting ready to start getting some serious fucking US and International Attention. Marko Zaror has been The Rock's stuntman, but recently he has been working with his best friend making a series of movies which... have all been entertaining, but with the world premiere of MANDRILL - we're seeing the emergence of a phenomenal talent. On next to no money and with pure wit, talent and skill they crafted a movie in less than a year, for the express purpose of playing at FANTASTIC FEST 2009 - they start with no script and end up with an awesome and supremely entertaining light hearted action adventure thriller that was absolutely one of my favorite things out of Fantastic Fest this year! As Tim's Bitch Devin Serenaded with a heart stirring rendition of "Mary Had A Little Lamb" Marko Zaror performed the following, impossibly difficult physical feat that shot a Zeus like bolt of electricity that powered the hearts and minds of everyone that witnessed it! Marko is the future. He's preternaturally talented, nice and charismatic! Can't wait for all of you to know his name!

I'VE NEVER SEEN THAT EVER DONE BEFORE EVER. <br> Tony Jaa does that during every shit before he wipes
-
or any martial arts movie....ever? free standing butterfly twists aren't exactly the height of what can be done
-
I'm chilean and Mirageman was one of the best movies we saw in theaters last year, entertaining as no other movie. The only bad thing is i'm sure he votes Piñera.
-
What's the music playing in that clip?
-
found it!

You wouldn't believe how HUGE is the MMAA scene in Chile
by The_Hypnotoad
Wow, first we got a "PROMEDIO ROJO" mention and now Marko is the new chilean portegé in AICN. Way to go, Marko! And for the rest of you: Go and rent Kiltro & Mirageman
-
The funny thing with chilean cinema (being a chilean myself, and living here) is that a great deal of movies are being made here, with the same soap opera actors, simple tiresome plots, and artistry tones that file like old style art cinema... Overly pompous directors that do the whole west eourpe cinema festivals tour... And the themes are always either Pinochet's dictatorship, marginal poverty, or sexfests. And here is this guy, just beiung honest to himself, doing movies about what he likes, and what he do; and get much more international atention than, let's say, Gonzalo Justiniano ever did! I, for one, am anxiously waiting for the next Marco Zaror Movie. Go Marko! Fvck Piñera!
-
Tony Jaa is maybe 5'5, Zaror is like 6'5". It's wicked to see someone that big doing the moves he does. Don't think that one layout spin tells his story....
-
Mirageman! That is all.
-
Hell yeah, was about time... and yes, Kiltro and Mirageman are really cool too. Go Zaror!!
-
hahahaha
-
he certainly did a capoeira stance before the twist. nice move, but nothing new.

Which is like "Roots", only with kung-fu. http://tinyurl.com/mhkskr

hey peeps-you guys can see Marko as the bad guy in Undisputed 3 starring Scott Adkins as Boyka-It looks really kick-ass. Good for Marko and Scott! Finally some new martial arts blood, and shame on Aint it cool for not givin' some props to Scott Adkins! Have any of you seen the behind the scenes on youtube for Ninja? Please check it out, gang! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-2ur-wJDCWg

Awesome corkscrew. He does the same move in mirageman but with a little more height. Can't wait to see this guy going against Adkins. They both really are two to watch out for, and to see their skills combined would be amazing to watch.
-
Now that's the movie I gotta see. Blood and Bone 2. The Latin connection.
-
Yes, I agree, obviously by my name lol. I think the next generation of martial artists have finally come. Zaror, Adkins, Jaa, Jeeja Yanin(Chocolate). I think some kick ass stuff is on the way from all of them! Hell, throw Michael Jai White in there too! Respect!
-
Thanks for the Ninja link, it looks awesome. I've been a fan of Scott since I've seen Special Forces in 2003. The fact that Hollywood hasn't given him a starring role shows how much they are slipping.
-
When you see the lame fighting movies Hollywood released in the last year, I think Blood and Bone deserved a theatrical release.
-
The closest Scott got has been playing Deadpool at the end of Wolverine-when is Hollywood going to realize it's best to treat martial arts films like a western? All you need is a badass, one formal supermodel love interest, and bunch of stuntmen willing to get kicked in the face? BTW, Ninja looks a HELL of a lot better than Ninja Assassin.
