My favorite movie of the year...full stop. Downey OWNED in every possible way. Jeff Bridges was GREAT as Obadiah Stain. This was more enjoyable to me than my 2nd favorite movie DK. I can't wait for IM2...and I bet it's a grand slam.

Worst set report EVER. ET is fucking terrible. I don't care about their workout plans, and I don't need to see that ET douchebag's face every 4 seconds (I've spent years in broadcast journalism, I know how many reaction shots are necessary ... not that many!!!). Good grief, tell us something we care about!The only interesting part was seeing Mickey destroy that car (even sans effects).And somehow I don't think Terrence Howard would ever have used the phrase "awed reverence" or whatever Cheadle said. Good on you Don!

It was the most positive that Ed Norton has sounded about the Avengers flick since he wrapped INCREDIBLE HULK. Hopefully Norton has put that ugly screen credit lawsuit behind him, and Marvel will make the right move and sign him up for the big team-up flick.

Batman is batman, and doesn't belong with other superheroes because he doesn't have any powers. Superman is a stupid character who went obsolete in the Cold War -- he has zero relevance today, he is just too inconsistent and frankly too powerful.And DC doesn't have any other characters that matter to the general public. Not a one.

really what you are saying is that DC doesn't matter to non-fans any more than opera matters to me. I like DC, but they are very inconsistent with characters, and stuff like Superman's costume needs a serious update. But none of that matters if you are dead-set against them. Fortunately for Dc they do have millions of fans who want to see their characters in the movies.

He's just completely brilliant in the role, an absolute revelation. Ok, so he's not pretty boy handsome as he has often been portrayed. His personality overcomes all of that. It's like everyone involved in this franchise has just caught the perfect wave and all their talents are peaking together.

He seems so wrong for this movie. Did everyone notice that he's the only cast member without and interview in this piece? Are they afraid he'll say too much, or did he refuse the interview? Doesn't matter I guess. This combination of characters does not excite me the way a sequel to Iron Man should.

I am sure his character will be fine. I have faith in John Favereau that this movie will top the 1st. I have no faith that Mickey Roarke will be lucid and be able to properly promote the movie after his years of drug abuse. IM did not excite me until I saw it. IM2 has me as soon as they said there would be IM2.

The best part of the first one is his "relationship" with the robots and that he did it all by himself. It grounded the character and made him more likeable, freeing RDJ up to be condescending and a bit of a dick. NO LAB=NO LIKEY

I am looking forward to it, This is the only Marvel comic that translated to flim real well so far. The director showed us that comic movies can be good if you put heart into it. CAN'T WAIT(I also love the new Batman movies) Hope a good comic movie trend will begin.

This movie just looks like it's attempting to be way too broad and all over the place. All these new characters just scream overload on fight scenes. I really hope it's as good as the first but it just all seems a bit rushed imo. And also, where was Sam Rockwell when you need him? His addition to the flick makes me hold out some hope that it might be decent.

What I actually logged on to say was how truly nervous I am about this movie after seeing E.T. Car explosions? What is this? Fast and Furious? And Mickey Rourke's unbelievably hokey-looking costume? That looked like some X3 shit. This movie is gonna suck. Damn. Damn. Damn.

Am I the only one who doesn't find her hot in a superhero leotard? I mean (and follow me on this), I hated the Merchant Ivory movies, but the only thing that kept me from going up a wall was the thought of Helena Bonham Carter undoing her bodice. Then, Fight Club came out and, while I get the point of the movie (severely fucked up people on a crash-course with self-destruction taking the rest of the world with them), I couldn't help but feel let down when I saw HBC dressed up like a crack whore. Now think about when you first really thought Scarlett Johnassen was hot - it was that opening shot of "Lost In Translation" in the see-thru underwear (it was for me, anyway). Now, she's made up, totally against type, like Halle Barry in Catwoman. It's not hot; in fact, it's frustrating - how can a woman that naturally beautiful be so totally unapealling? I dont' know. Jmho.

Lost Boys: The Tribe was a great movie. Yeah it had everything cool to Da X-TreEm. It has vampires riding motorcycles and skate boards and surfing TO DA X TREEM. WOOOO awessss ummh yeah it sucked and I spent my money buying the dvd hoping the for the best and got shat on.
