Greetings! ScoreKeeper here in the sky with diamonds to spread my elation across the universe over a pair of music bonanzas born on this very day. Today is 09/09/09 - the release date for THE BEATLES: REMASTERED box sets. There are two different versions of the BEATLES catalog hitting the streets today. The first set features all thirteen original studio albums (plus Past Masters) remastered in stereo. The set also includes a DVD containing thirteen digital mini-documentaries revealing the remastering process of each album. The second set features the original versions of the eleven studio albums in mono plus Mono Masters which compiles all the singles and EPs. I'll be receiving a stereo set tomorrow at which point I'll dive fervently into each album soaking up the rich tunes inside.
