Even though those concerts can not happen now, said rehearsal material has been folded into a theatrical presentation that'll hit screens 'round the end of October.

I saw first hand and up close how Blacks and others reacted to members of their own race and other races. I rarely heard Blacks refer to themselves or their friends as the n word. Rappers are not representative of Blacks, and that is where the disconnect comes in. far too often people will form an opinion of someone based upon what they see on television as opposed to what they encounter in the real world. I lived with and slept in the same quarters with a number of Blacks, and it was an eye opening experience. Sure, I heard the word, but it was the few times that I heard it that stood out, as opposed to often.

I am a professional musician and have been making my living performing live and recording for the past 25 years. I may not be as successful as Michael was, but I own my own house free and clear and have raised my kids and put some of them through college. I like just about all jazz, pop, classical, and world type music there is. I have been listening to some metal these days as I have a project that I'm working on. Only things I don't enjoy as much are rap and country, but I don't dislike them outright. I never liked Jackson's music because as he got older it was so filled with his ridiculous affectations that I couldn't listen to it seriously. I guess some of the music without his vocal were good, but his "Jamons" and "Yips" and YeeHees" and "WooHoos" lost me. Anyway, being a musician I have worked alongside all sorts of different people. Blacks, whites, Asian, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, Slavic, you name it. I never looked at anyone any differently than myself other than what they could bring to the table musically. But maybe I was raised differently than the people you know. One thing you should know is that you know nothing of the people you call out anonymously on these TB's. Michael Jackson was no saint or deity. He wasn't so highly revered for his accomplishments that he is beyond being made fun of (well, other than being dead and all-that is pretty BEYOND). I find it strange to defend a dead man. His feelings aren't being hurt at the moment.
