If Adult Swim's newly updated long-term schedule is a good indicator, then Venture Bros. should be returning with Season 4 starting Oct. 18.
Sept. 1, 2009, 9:01 a.m. CST
Bummer that it's not gonna be starting up same time as The Office. I want some Liz Lemon in my life
Sept. 1, 2009, 9:02 a.m. CST
on this list being cancelled before they have all aired their first episode? Of course the next question is "what will be the first show cancelled and after how many episodes"?
Sept. 1, 2009, 9:31 a.m. CST
I guarantee you this show will be the worst piece of shit you've ever seen. Yes, even worse than most of the garbage that's been on Comedy Central in recent years.
Sept. 1, 2009, 9:31 a.m. CST
this year but odds are if I like them, they'll be canceled.
/small *whimper* for the long wait for Lost

Sept. 1, 2009, 11:53 a.m. CST
What did FOx lose baseball rights or something, they used to always hold back simpsons untill after the playoffs which meant the THoH episode aired after halloween...maybe this year we will get it before hallows eve
and yes simpsons is still on and its still on of the best Tv shows heading into it's 20th year its over its slump of about 5 years ago and is really going strong. Fox is never going to let these characters die, even after the voice actors die give it 10 years and the show will come back with a new cast like flintstones and jetsons did
Sept. 1, 2009, 12:52 p.m. CST

There's so little to watch this fall, but what I do watch seems all bunched up together. I have to wait till the end of the month and then BAM -- American Dad, Cleveland Show, Californication, Dexter, Family Guy, Simpsons all on the 27th. And Dollhouse, Smallville and Stargate all on Friday's. I suppose Dexter is the only one of those I really care about, but still. What a pain in the ass! And nothing new to look forward too (Cleveland show don't count since it's YASMFS).

As for the Simpsons, it has been back before Halloween for, I think, the last two years. However, for some inexplicable reason, they don't show the Halloween episode until after the fucking holiday. The use to show it on Halloween, but a month before is better than a single day after. Fox execs need to lay off the pipe. Or at least pass it around.

Sept. 1, 2009, 12:52 p.m. CST
I watched through the original final episode, the little I've seen of the return seems forced.
Sept. 1, 2009, 1:37 p.m. CST

Sept. 1, 2009, 1:39 p.m. CST
During the summer I thought I had my life back and wasn't a slave to my DVR. Now it looks like TV is coming back with a vengeance. Maybe its time to give up on TV.
Sept. 1, 2009, 1:40 p.m. CST
PLEASE PLEASE get cancelled by the second episode!
Probably not, I bet this show goes longer then Conan on late night. Fuck old people.

Sept. 1, 2009, 1:54 p.m. CST
That show already looks cancelled and its not even on yet. Probably will get at least 10 seasons.
Sept. 1, 2009, 2:38 p.m. CST
But what date is it on? WHAT DATE?!
Sept. 1, 2009, 2:41 p.m. CST
or just a placeholder until 30 rock in october? it's a bad idea either way, just wondering if it's a short-term or long-term bad idea, now that the election is over. for the record i thought it was funny last year but why not just hold over potential skits for the saturday version?
Sept. 1, 2009, 3:03 p.m. CST
I don't think the Bird of Prey is attacking the Enterprise, I think that image is supposed to be ***Spoiler*** the ship beaming-up the whales. However, it's still a poor representation of the film, seeing as how the Enterprise wasn't in that one at all (or am I wrong, do they show a scene of the ship being rebuilt at any time?).
Sept. 1, 2009, 3:05 p.m. CST
Its Always Sunny has aired either at 10pm or 10:30, right after NBC's comedy block, or CSI, or whatever the fuck Fox airs. Sad to see Fringe is up against the only 2 NBC shows I watch.
Sept. 1, 2009, 3:14 p.m. CST
But wasn't sure. It feels like forever since I saw a new sunny.
Sept. 1, 2009, 3:33 p.m. CST
I KNOW! FX will run Night At The Museum or X Men 3 ad nauseum, but schedule a Sunny repeat...?? Good luck. Maybe they'll run a marathon before the new season. I need a Nightman Cometh fix. Would love to see the live shows.
Sept. 1, 2009, 4:03 p.m. CST

Sept. 2, 2009, 4:14 a.m. CST

Sept. 3, 2009, 3:56 a.m. CST
I miss it. Or rather, I miss waiting for it. I spent so much of my life anticipating new episodes that its hard to look at one of these lists and not see any word about it. I think I need help.
