Print Editions Of Entertainment Weekly To Include A Free Ultra-Thin CBS Video Player!!

I am – Hercules!!
We’ve caught up with “Minority Report”! That didn’t take long! Remember how excited we used to get about lenticulars and scratch n’sniff? CBS is including a super-thin video player in Sept. 18 print editions of Entertainment Weekly mailed to subscribers in the Los Angeles and New York areas. It will play clips from new shows "Accidentally on Purpose," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "The Good Wife" and "Three Rivers," as well as returning sitcoms "How I Met Your Mother," "Two and a Half Men" and "Big Bang Theory." You don't have to plug the magazine into an outlet or attach it to a VCR or anything, but you can recharge it via a mini-USB cord. CNET has details:
Here are some more details about the Americhip technology: the screen, which is 2.7 millimeters thick, has a 320x240 resolution. The battery lasts for about 65 to 70 minutes, and can be recharged, believe it or not, with a mini USB cord--there's a jack on the back of it. The screen, which uses thin film transistor liquid crystal display (TFT LCD) technology, is enforced by protective polycarbonate.
No word yet on whether or not CBS laughs at the Apple laptop that fits into a large envelope. Read CNET's story about the player here.
