Mad Men's Jon Hamm joins up with Zack Snyder's SUCKER PUNCH!
Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I suppose it had to happen eventually. Zack Snyder couldn't just keep pouring mega-hot women into his next movie... he's gotta have someone there for the ladies and that someone looks to be MAD MEN's Jon Hamm according to Borys Kitt at Hollywood Reporter.
Hamm joins a cast pulled out of my own personal heaven including Abbie Cornish, Carla Gugino, Jena Malone, Jamie Chung, Vanessa Hudgens and Emily Browning, playing the lead character. The story on THR gives a little more info on the plot than I had heard, mainly that Browning is placed into a nuthouse by her evil stepfather and is scheduled to undergo a lobotomy. Browning and her (apparently all hot) friends enter some sort of alternate reality to plan her escape.
Hamm's character isn't revealed, but he's apparently called HIGH ROLLER.
I'm very much looking forward to seeing a Zack Snyder original and whatever the hell that ends up being. What about you?

I said before he's too old, but I've come around, Hamm is perfect. In fact, some of the new Supes art coming out from DC looks like it was modelled on him. And while you're at it, DC should get Warburton as Shazaam. Can't we make them do it?

My guess is that the hot girls will be uglied down for their real life asylum scenes and then made very hot looking and superhero like for their fantasy scenes. But they'd probably look hot even uglied down a bit for the more realistic scenes. Movie ugly and movie normal looking is like twenty times more attractive than real life ugly and real life normal looking. Also Hamm would make a great superman, if you look at Alex Ross's superman art you can draw the comparison. He'd be sort of a fifties throwback rather than Brandon Routh's Abercrombie and Fitch possibly gay version of superman.

I wasn't overly interested in this movie, but the addition of Jon Hamm definitely helps. I'm not a Snyder fanboy but I do think he deserves a lot more credit than some of you give him, so I defend the guy when I see some pretentious douchebag on here ranting about him being a hack. You may not like Snyder or the films he makes, but that doesn't make him a hack. Hopefully he will prove it to the "haters" with Sucker Punch.

Improved on Romero. Style you can identify on sight. A director whose name alone can carry a film. Have any opinion you want..the man is more of an artist than 75% of people making movies today.
