Live in Chicago? Wanna see FIFTY DEAD MEN WALKING, with star Jim Sturgess post-screening Q&A? Capone has the details!!!

Hey everyone. Capone in Chicago here.

So I got an email the other day from someone representing the upcoming film FIFTY DEAD MEN WALKING, which tells the true story of Martin McGartland, who was recruited by the British police in the 1980s to infiltrate and spy on the IRA. The film's star Jim Sturgess (ACROSS THE UNIVERSE; 21; THE OTHER BOLEYN GIRL) was coming to town for a press day and a post-screening Q&A, and the rep wanted to know if I was interested in moderating. My first response was that I would do it only if I could invite a few readers along for the ride, because there is nothing more comforting than knowing that a certain percentage of any Q&A audience will have decent questions for any guest when the movie is done. They were kind enough to give me 50 seats (roughly working out to 25 winners, with one guest each), and here's how you win a pair.

This screening of FIFTY DEAD MEN WALKING with post-screening Q&A with lead actor Jim Sturgess takes place Thursday, August 20 at 7:00pm at a theater in Chicago (the exact location will only be given to contest winners).

Here's how to secure a pass good for you and one guest: Send me an email at capone@aintitcoolmail.com with the subject line "FIFTY SEATS WAITING". In the body of the email, I need your Name, whether or not you're bringing a Guest (guests' names are not required), and the answer to the following question (read carefully): What question would you like to ask Jim Sturgess if you got the chance?

Keep your question BRIEF--limit your answers to 50 words or less (no matter how tempted you are to go over the limit). Winners will receive an email from me later this weekend.

Please keep in mind that if you win, you will still need to arrive early to the screening. This is NOT and exclusive AICN event, although I don't think it's substantially overbooked. Still, when a guest is part of the equation, you can pretty much count on people showing up and every seat being taken, and I don't want any of you to get shut out. And for God's sakes, if there's even the slightest chance you'll have to back out of attending if you do win, don't enter. You'd be amazed how many last-minute emergencies (or other lame excuses) crop up in the 12 hours before every screening. If you have a job that might make you late, or an ill/pregnant relative, or a temperamental significant other, do not enter. I'm trying to pack our 50 seats with actual Jim Sturgess fans and not just people that want to see a free movie.

Good luck, everyone! Hope to see you there.
