Some even seemed a bit tall, and shit... this is a contest for Texas so the Taller the better to see the coolness of Mike Judge's World Premiere of EXTRACT - being brought to us by THE AUSTIN FILM SOCIETY, The Original Alamo Drafthouse, Ain't It Cool News and SXSW. Look, AICN's in there with the big guys! So weird. Anyways...

Right about now - some of you are seriously bummed that you don't have an email. I know. Because there were only 25 winners, and I got over 750 emails on this contest. Which means there's at least 725 entrants wondering. Is their chance over? Is there no hope? There is, there is hope.

$100 VIP seating and official after-party with Judge and Bateman

$30 (Mezzanine) and $17 (Upper Balcony) for the screening including a Q&A

Those prices may feel high, but frankly that's because this is a charity screening for the Texas Filmmakers' Production Fund - which gives giant gobs of money and tiny life saving stacks of $100 bills to desperate struggling filmmakers trying to make something that can entertain, provoke thought or touch you in some big or small way. So the money really does go to a good filmmaking cause that has done an awful lot for the state of film in Texas.

But act quick, I hear they're going like hot cakes as the buzz continues that Mike Judge has delivered again... unlike those terrible tv spots. Ack.
