THE DRAGON Will Not Be ENTERed Now, But AWAKENED!!

Kurt Sutter, who produced, directed, and wrote various installments of THE SHIELD and SONS OF ANARCHY for television, is prepping a "noir style" reworking of Bruce Lee's ENTER THE DRAGON.

Sutter said he's writing "Awaken the Dragon" as a contemporized drama about a lone FBI agent who pursues a rogue Shaolin monk into the bloody world of underground martial arts fight clubs.

...says Latino review HERE. The LR guys also tell us that Warner Bros. is closing in on Rain to take on a major role in the film. Presumably this is based on his appearance in the studio's forthcoming Wachowskyfest NINJA ASSASSIN. Rain also sings... Glad I didn't name my toddler Partly Cloudy; woulda looked kinda lame given that Rain's star seems to be rising so assuredly...
