Ozymandias has a list to read regarding the matter of DISTRICT 9 in Miami!!!
My name is Ozymandias, king of kings: Look on my list, ye Mighty, and despair...for those who didn't get in.
Here it is, the list of the lucky people who got into the Aint It Cool News' Miami DISTRICT 9 screening with a post-screening Q&A with DISTRICT 9 director Neill Blomkamp and lead actor Sharlto Copley. There was a huge response and the list filled up in a little over 12 hours by eager AICNers happy to attend the site's first screening in South Florida. As Harry stated in the announcement piece this will also be my first time running a screening and Q&A so my apologies beforehand for any glitches, snafus or general chaos. The screening will be at the AMC Aventura 24 on August 11 and is scheduled to start at ____ but try to get there a little early so we can check everyone's name against the list and have you all seated in time. For those of you who applied and didn't get in I'm sorry but hopefully this will be the first of many AICN screenings in South Florida and you will get another chance. That is if I don't accidently blow up the theater or unleash a mutant squid.

Shit is the past-tense of shit. Shat is not a real word.... it was just made up by dumb-asses who couldn't wrap their heads around the idea that the same word can be used for past, present and future tenses.

it's in a thing called a "dictionary". Either "shit", or "shat" can be used as the past tense. Like, "I shit on your mom's chest after I pulled my cock out of her ass," or, "I shat on your mom's chest. It was awesome." Take your pick.

The screening time should be around 7:30-8:00pm but when I find out the exact time I'll update the announcement. Also a few names on the list have changed so if they aren't updated here I will contact the people through email.

to run these lists through an alpha-organizer? Import to a spreadsheet program, alphabetize and then export to WP. Sure, it's alpha by first name, but that's still a lot easier and nicer than having us read the whole list and feel bad when we reach the end.

Try to get there early so we can get everyone checked in and seated. Also the security for this District 9-screening will be as follows: Bag/tag cell phones, bag check and wanding.

Loved the entire experience you did a great job setting this up. The movie kicked all kinds of ass and I think that it is the best sci-fi movie made this decade.

I just got home from the Aventura screening, and it was an excellent movie. The Q&A was also quite entertaining. Can't wait for more premieres down here.

This was really fun. Loved the movie and Q&A. Got a signed poster too ! Woo-Hoo ! Would love an Inglorious Bastards screening but I think you guys would of announced it by now. Maybe Avatar ? Shit any free screening is fine by me. Keep it up guys !
