In a naked attempt to build buzz for his “Late Night” franchise on NBC, Jimmy Fallon has been lobbying “Saved By The Bell” vets to reunite.
One of those vets, Tiffani Thiessen, has assembled a response via Funny Or Die (the short-film website set up by Will Ferrell and his filmmaker pals Adam McKay and Judd Apatow) far more entertaining than any component of Fallon’s campaign:

Well, I can see that Kelly Kapowski has certainly lost her comedic touch since Saved By the Bell ended. Apparently she's lost her entire "acting" touch, but after 10 odd years of not working AT ALL, I guess it's to be expected. Easy solution - come up with a story where her character was killed and the group has to get together to support each other. At the climax, they'll find out it was Mr. Belding that did it in a huge twist. M. Night Shyamamamalan can direct.

So yeah, that clip doesn't make her look like a pretentious bitch at all. If the clip had been funny it would have been different but it wasn't and the weed and banana dick parts almost made me groan. Before anyone freaks out I'm not saying she is a pretentious bitch the clip response just makes her seem like it. Since being in a Pauly Shore movie has probaly been her biggest career highligh since Saved by the Bell you think she would welcome a little new exposure. In this age of super nostalgia it could have kick started something for her, it certainly wouldn't hurt her carer. But who knows, maybe she'll do it anyway.

If it had been much shorter, it might just have worked, but by the end she comes off as stuck up. Also, the train leaves the tracks the minute she goes, "and when I'm not doing all of that, I'm at the pool looking hot." I lost all sympathy from that point, because now you're just coming off like a conceited bitch. This was clearly an ATTEMPT to be funny, but it failed.
P.S. Thank god it looks like script girl is no more. Talk about a failed attempt. (lol, at anything.) -

She was like the wife of the FBI Agent. The series was, "he's a by the book FBI investigator, he's a ex-con forgery expert. Together, they fight crime." I think she actually needs the work on the Fallon show.

Basicly Dustin Diamond (Screech) had a routine scritped by an actual comedian. He goes off of that, mostly relying on his "gut busting" goofy faces to win the crowd over. TRAIN WRECK doesn't begin to descibe it. As most likely you'll be so angry five minutes in due to how unfunny he is. Like it's so not funny, you'll wish violence and terror on other people.

many years ago (15, i think) screech was singing in a band. my band opened for his band. at the show (in santa barbara, ca), radio promoters gave out plastic water bottles to promote their radio station. people in the audience promptly began throwing the plastic bottles at screech, several hitting him in the head. an ambulance was called and screech was taken to the hospital. it was a highlight in my bands career.

In the amount of time it took to write, produce, and edit this unfunny clip, she could have gone on Jimmy Fallon for a couple of hours to talk about Saved by the Bell and give her some more exposure. It just comes across as her being above the thing that made her famous, even though in this clip she makes references to the show anyway. Personally, she still is ridiculously hot but she's coming across rather bitchy.

Mark-Paul Gosselaar reprising Zack Morris on Fallon's show was definitely the best thing the show has done, and funnier than this video. But as a whole, while Fallon has gotten better since his first week, there's still a lot of room for improvement...some of the sketches are pretty good ("Head Swap" in particular), but the monologue is always weak and he behaves too much like a fan during interviews ("You're so cool! Your movie is so awesome!").

I think that, like Conan, he would have benefited from being a nobody who just landed assbackwards into this huge gig hosting a late night talk show. There are too many people who have a built-in hatred of Fallon for the guy to succeed.

I can vouch for that. Just recently watched Reefer Madness The Musical and she played Joan of Arc. It's not a big role but she makes the most of it, especially in that suit of armor.Sorry to disappoint jackknifed_juggernaut, but she is a lot busier than you thought; a quick trip to IMDB can confirm that. You may have to wait a few more years for that Step by Step reunion.
